Uber had a bit of a glitch over the weekend, and are making up for it by giving some 'free' credit.

Get $6 off your next two rides. Simply navigate to the Promotions tab in your app and add the code ‘OCTOBER2016OZ’ to redeem the discount.

Seems to be targeted code, so YMMV. Sorry guys, thought it was generic.

      Yep, Already covered that off. Seems to be targeted. Even though 'everyone' would have been impacted and generic looking promo code :(

      VIC, but the outage happened OZ wide. Code applied to my account ok, email was received from Uber a few hours ago.

    Worked for me - I opened the app during the weekend and it wouldn't load (received a "Sorry for the Delay" message). Didn't make any rides, was just trying to test other promo codes.
