    I've been looking for a good one of these, ta!

    However, what's the usual price?

  • Anyone know what the in-app purchases are for?

    "In-app Products
    $0.99 - $3.99 per item"

      The in apps show extra content into planets, constellations, satellites and solar systems.

      • Moon = $1.

        Uranus = $3.99

          Seems a bit steep for Uranus 😀

          Seems excessive, with a full moon one can often catch a glimpse of Uranus.

        Answering my own question… :P

        $0.99 for each of:

        • Constellations upgrade (3D models);
        • Deep Sky Objects (star clusters, nebulae, galaxies);
        • Extended Solar System (dwarf planets, asteroids, comets, meteor showers);
        • Satellites (man-made, such as the ISS and the Hubble);
        • The Planets (3D models).

        Or buy all 5 as a bundle for $3.99

    Looks interesting, will give a go.

    So how is it different/better then Skymap?

  • Im curious how this is different to the free version? From what I can tell with the 'FREE' version its possibly a slightly older version of the same app and then the only difference I can see is the 'in app purchases' prices so unless your going to spend money on the extras it seems you can just try it for free. If that's the case its not really 'worth a try' for 20c when there is a completely free version to try for absolutely nothing.

    Usual price is .99USD

    EDIT: upon closer inspection it appears the FREE version is actually the newer version, the paid version number is actually older not really sure what that means.
