I've been holding out for a while for a new laptop and came across a code for 15% off on a spend of over 1500.

This a new model with the new 7th Gen Intel processors. Probably won't see them discounted like other lenovo deals of late. Great price for a really nice laptop.

Another model is available with an i5 processor and dedicated graphics for $1444.15.

This would likely work for the new 910 laptops as well.

  • Decent discount for a brand new model.

They've changed the minimum for LENOVO20 to $2500+ spend.

    • All good, I've updated the post. Thanks!

    $1600+ for a dual core???

Probably better off with the cheaper i5 model? Unless it saves a fair bit of power switching between integrated and dedicated graphics…

    • Yeah, for general use I agree. I was trying to decide between the two and decided to go for a little extra power. I do a lot of programming and other resources intensive stuff so it's worth it for me.

  • Hopefully the 6th gen gets decent discounts

  • Thanks OP. anyone know if both the 710 and 910 come with touch screen?

That's what the Yoga series is, 2in1s.

      • Thanks mate :)

  • They don't even give you the option of upgrading the memory/hdd, or getting ripped off while upgrading the size of the memory and hard drive. What kind of notebook manufacturer is this?

  • $1600 for dual core laptop with 940mx? is a joke
With that battery size I don't think you'd get a decent battery life either!

    • It is a 2in1 laptop (tablet mode too).

Your right with the battery though, only 9 hours in testing even though they claim 11 hours.

  • What would be an ASUS equivalent to the 910 model?

The Zenbook Flip comes closest. Model is ux360ua, it's a brand new model and only JB have them in stock so far.

      • Thanks mate :)

  • Does anyone know anywhere in Brisbane that you can go and see the X1 yoga or the 460 yoga?

    I'm tossing up between the 910,the 710, the 460 and the X1.
If the X1 had dedicated graphics I'd be grabbing that one but it doesn't seem to have the option.
The 460 looks like the next best built one but older tech. Then the 910/710s have newer tech but are consumer based so not as well built.

(plastic vs carbon case from what I can see?)

Either that or the Microsoft Surface Book, but I don't like the idea of having to unhook the screen.

  • Hey do you know when the discount code will expire?

  • How are the quality of Lenovo's product? How's their customer service as well? I'm considering buying extra warranty with them if they're goo.d

  • looks like code has expired, just tried it, invalid
