I purchased 2 of your mats a few months ago.

While they are quite thick and haven't cracked (yet!) they do slide around on carpet over a week or 2 and need to be placed back in their original positions. This is with short pile carpet (these mats are 7.5mm thick overall, 4.5mm + 3mm feet or similar).

I didn't have this problem with a Costco mat (which just ended up cracking after 18 months so unfortunately had to be returned).

While your service was good (prompt delivery) and price was good, the product is a little irritating to use so I can't necessarily recommend them to others.

    • Appreciate you taking the time to submit feedback johnleckie70.

Can you please confirm what thickness your carpet is to [email protected] and we will work to resolve this for you?

Here is the link on how to check your carpet thickness - www.matshop.com.au/videos

      • I have the same issue, however I need to move the mat back into its original position every single day. Moves quite a bit which is quite frustrating.
This is using the thickest mat you have available.

  • The "Heavy Duty Rubber Ute Mat Liner With Holes" when viewed from the Anti-Slip category view shows as $77 incl GST (http://www.matshop.com.au/anti-slip-mats).

When I click on the link, it becomes $93.33 incl GST (http://www.matshop.com.au/anti-slip-mats/durable-rubber-ute-…)

    • Hi Brickles

I am sorry, please check it now.

      • Thanks. What material are these made from? Specifically, how would they stand salt-water & oil (for potential use in the bilge of a boat)?

        • that material is 100% natural rubber, eventually oil will break it down however it shouldnt be effected by salt water.

        • @matshop: Awesome responsiveness. How about this one as a potentially better alternative for my application: http://www.matshop.com.au/anti-slip-pvc-link-tile-system-500…

Do you happen to have the specification of what type of PVC these are made from (i.e. plasticised, rigid, glass fibre, etc). They have different water absorption properties.

        • @Brickles: Hi Brickles, yes that one being PVC will withtand oils better, that one is a flexible PVC, i am happy to send you a sample to test if you like?

        • @matshop: PM Sent.

  • @matshop do you guys do cargo mat for cars. I need one for ISUZU MUX

  • Articifical turf,
    http://www.matshop.com.au/thick-pile-artificial-grass

Is it rubber backed & can I just plonk it down on concrete (ie no need to glue & it usually wouldn't slip?

I assume you can just use tape to stick multiple pieces together?

    • Hi supabrudda

It has a rigid backing on it, we sell it to cafes for use as rugs and they dont glue it down, if you want a sample let me know and i ll arrange it for you. Email the request to [email protected].

      • thanks. I just tried the coupon, but not valid? has it finished?

        • Hi @supabrudda, yes we have finished this Ozbargain deal.

  • Expired? Sigh :(
