Just received this email from Deliveroo. Not clear from the T&C's whether this is completely free or if you will be charged a $5 delivery fee.

The Mutants are Free and so are the Burgers

T&Cs: The promotion will run until designated quantities have been exhausted from the X-Men Pop Up by Ribs and Burgers at The Rocks and Central Park locations. The promotion period is from 3pm - 5pm Wednesday 28th. Minimum spend $0 & charge of $5 Deliveroo Fee applies.

    Really?

Minimum spend $0 & charge of $5 Deliveroo Fee applies.

    • Well "Free Burger" was plastered all over the email so I'd say it's a bit dodgy of them to hide and then slap on a $5 delivery charge. From memory last time the free burger deal was completely free.

In any case you should be able to create a new account using a referral code for $20 credit and still have $15 left after this.

      • The last burger deal (assuming same one) also charged a delivery fee. It was pretty much just $15 off (from memory) at a selected place the sells burgers, but they still had a minimum total for free delivery. Deliveroo's Facebook marketing department had no idea themselves…

      • Not really dodgy. Do you really expect them to give you a burger for free and drive to you to deliver it for free as well?

          Yes.

Classic, as soon as it opens the site is unable to process orders. No doubt I'll be presented with error messages for another 10 minutes and then "all free burgers claimed".

    • yeah… good bye free burger

    • Not working for me either…

  • Where is the mutant? Edit found it.. but costs $5 for the burger and $5 for delivery

    • I'm seeing $5 for the burger and free delivery.

      • Yeah managed to get it. There were 'server issues' previously so there were several price changes.
