Good Power Bank, Ive had this one for a few years now.

  • +1

    not lowest price

    • -1

Too true, not sure why you are being negged?

Geardo is an authorised 3rd party Xiaomi reseller offering a lower price with complimentary express shipping.

      • -1

meh. anonymous fanboys can neg if it makes them feel better

    • +4

      not lowest price

      It is now :)

      • +1

yeah does that include express post? Oh wait it doesn't…

        • +4

First of all, AusPost Express service has limitation which are the major cities within Australia. Using eParcel for these cities is 1-2 business days. However, for other areas, the delivery speed of AusPost Express is the same as AusPost eParcel.
All our orders are sent with insurance. You are covered by insurance if parcel is lost in mail. Lost in mail does happen all the time to AusPost service. They probably don't have as insurance plus express will be over cost.
As an Australian registered business, we do everything in complied to Australian law. GST is included in every single order.
No tricks, no grey import. That's because it is the right thing to do.
Thank you for supporting Mushtato and local business :)

        • +1

@mushtato: Cheers for the info. Good to see you guys price beating competitors. Great to see some competition in the market, good for all consumers :)

        • +5

@ShamelessBargains: We understand consumer wants the lowest price. We won't get into a price war which mostly leads to selling below cost. In most cases, this will cause reducing service (warranty shorten) and/or product quality (import cheaper but unreliable product). After all, consumer pay the price. No one is winner.
Mushtato has been in the market for many years. Our reputation is built on genuine and reliable product, fast deliver, excellent after-sale service, GST invoice and supporting Australia society. We will maintain and improve these standards to bring better products and services to Aussie :)

        • @mushtato:

Don't make a post complaining about how it all went wrong to save 40 cents

        • +1

@shawncro 222: Just providing comparison. I got negged earlier for my deal being $0.05 more expensive.
Both prices are now identical except Geardo offers complimentary express shipping.

        • +2

          @ShamelessBargains:

          Its oz bargain

Who gives a flying toss about some stupid reputation voting system

This place is full of bigotted little children who need to go get jobs or some sunlight if they're whinging over a deal you've found cheaper

          Ignore the haters

        • -1

          @shawncro 222:

Haha couldn't have said it better :)

It's all about finding the best deal at the best price at the end of the day.

  • +8

Cheaper deals than this have come up recently for Aus stock, I would wait for a better offer unless you needed it urgently:

    5000mAh
    Xiaomi Mi Powerbank

    20/9 $16.90 Shopping Square AU
    26/8 $18.95 Geardo AU
    15/8 $16.90 Shopping Square AU

    • Cheers, not surprising at all. The 10000 mAh is regularly ~$25 too.

    • -3

      Good for you

    • exactly, these have grown expensive for some reason instead of getting cheaper :S

      • Probably because they've become much harder to ship. March 2016 the IATA basically banned loose batteries (including power banks) from being carried on passenger aircraft. Most standard shipping services (DHL, TNT, etc.) won't take them anymore, at least not without a lot of pain and extra cost for "dangerous goods".

  • This bunch is good, just bought a 20000k last week, not the cheapest no doubt. Good for me at least as I don't need to worry about fake, spam, resold email and responsiveness.

But they should have a reward system for repeat customers. I always missed out on deals and outside flash sales, they won't do discounted 2nd items (like an LED light) when you purchase anything. That's a guaranteed way to lose repeat customers I think.

    • We are developing the credit system.
Apologize for the delay as our team is fixing the technical difficulty.
But don't worry, all previous orders are and will be counted when it's ready ;)

      • should I hold my breath? you must work faster, seller, it's cut throat biz out there especially in ozbargain. :p price is not everything but give value and freebies and quick quick quick, buyers want products Yesterday. lol

        • Thank you for supporting Mushtato.
Our team is doing their best to bring this system live as soon as possible :)

        • Not really
Demanding a business does business one way isn't really intelligent

You missed out on a deal, wait until the next one

I'd love to see you try your act on in a bricks and mortar store, you sound like the world owes you

          It really doesn't

        • @shawncro 222: I come from three generations of brick and mortar stores so I know the moment a customer walks out of my door empty handed or dissatisfied, he/she is a goner. And as a consumer I do "try my act" in real life, it's called walking with my wallet, and I'm not the tightest person around.

Every consumer demands something, be it dollars and cents or other value-added stuff, eg. time/convenience/risk/etc factors when purchasing. I think the best way to do business is a win-win situation. If customers don't feedback what they want(demand) of a business, how can they cater to them? It's a transaction, as a business if a demand is over the top and unsustainable, then those are low value customers they don't have to cater to them, simple. If it's my business I'd rather ALL customers speak up than walk with their wallets, a lot do. It's about making a customer feel they get "value" out of a purchase - service/gifts/credit/acknowledgement/support/etc.

Per my example of a case, it cost less than 1 AUD for a case/strap, this cost can be built into the normal price of the power bank as a gift. Flash sales don't have to come with gifts of course, the value is in the price already. I think the 'demand' is a reasonable suggestion.

        • @EyesWideOpen: Thank you for your kind suggestions.
Your constructive feedback is the key to improve our products and services.
          Much appreciate your support.
We will work it out from our end and bring them online as soon as possible.
If anyone has any idea or opinion, please feel free to contact us or post on our Facebook page.
          www.facebook.com/Mushtato.com.au
We encourage all customers to openly share their feedback and/or ideas.
          Thank you! :)

        • +1

          @EyesWideOpen:

To be honest I personally don't give twoshits about a few bucks extra here and there if the business is reliable and nice.

        • @djmm: ditto why i kept returning to them even outside deals. I find them reliable so far.

  • Do 20000 mAh

    • Awaiting new stock.
Will put them on soon :)

      • +3

please get some silicon casing for power banks even 3rd party, and miband straps. Cost you close to nothing but good value to end users, the black straps are boring.

        • Here you are again demanding get this and get that

          Seriously

        • @shawncro 222: Replied as above.

  • +1

Just for info, I have the 10,000mAh version and it only gives me about 2-3 full charges on my LG G4, so I reckon this one will only give one and a bit charges, or less if your phone has a larger battery. OK for a quick top up as these charge just as quick as a wall charger.

Why Neg for? isn't there some rule where a deal is only a deal if it's the cheapest? Therefore right now it's not a deal.

        • Mate, neg away if you believe it's warranted. Just trying to be helpful.

        • @tightarse:

  • No 10,000 add on this time :(. Will wait on the next one with baited breath. Only realised after the last deal that a 10,000 and 5,000 together were a great price.

    • +1

The 10000mAh model is current low in stock.
We will put on a new promotion for these models soon :)

      • Thank you for replying. The 10000 and 5000 together for $37 last time was great, but didn't realise until too late.

better deal here for AU stock when considering the express post option: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/267915

sure, i understand that mushtato has a so called reputation (which OP for some reason keeps bragging about on all his mushtato posts - btw, if ozbargainers are aware of it, why reminding them every time?), but this is not the best deal at the moment.

    • +3

Guess you didn't check the comments above.
      That's OK.

      • -2

i don't understand how this relates to my comment. i just said that the other deal is better because they offer free express post and you don't. and are you implying that the your competitors are using any tricks?

        • +7

He's saying that you're half illiterate. You're going on about express post so to sum it up for you in 3 easy steps this is what he's saying:

          • Express service is limited to major cities in Australia.
          • eParcel to these cities is 1-2 business days.
          • To other areas, the deliver speed of Express and eParcel are the same.
        • +1

Insurance for parcel lost in mail and customer service is something we offer.
Overall, if you are not living in major city, AusPost Express and AusPost eParcel are the same.
For major cities, not much differences.

As you can see, we never imply anything to anyone.
We focus on what we are doing and what we can do for our customers :)

        • @mushtato: let me get this straight - if the parcel sent from Australia with auspost is lost in the mail and it doesn't have insurance, the customer loses its money? btw, the sender is responsible for missing items in the mail - http://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/missing-mail-items.html

        • +2

@barguy: Thank you for your reply.
This is a service that we included to ensure customer order will arrive safely.
From our experience and statistically, insured parcel has much less chance to lost in mail.
That's probably (not sure) because AusPost staff will handle it more carefully.
Not that we won't cover if the parcel is lost in mail, but it does upset you when it happens.
Hope this address your concern :)

        • -1

Geardo offers registered express shipping and have never lost an item under this system. Not sure why people are criticising you for pointing out a very obvious difference in the deals.

        • @ShamelessBargains: oh well, some are clearly in love with mushtato and will do anything to defend them, even using personal attacks against people that dare to suggest that there are better options out there. it's fascinating.

        • +1

@ShamelessBargains: Glad to hear that AusPost has never lost any parcel of them.
Wish AusPost can keep up the good work for everyone :)

        • @smileymiwo:
He is saying goes that your comment about express post is dumb so stop commenting

    • @barguy

which OP for some reason keeps bragging about on all his mushtato posts

Great you bring this up. Obviously means the message is getting through :)

Interesting you vote this deal after no activity in 2 years, but you don't + the other 'better' deal?

      • What is so interesting? Why do you care about my activity? Maybe I was away from Australia or do I have to report to you? Anyway, since you asked, I voted on this "deal" as it is clearly not a good deal. I haven't voted for the other one because I don't think that deal is good either, but it is better than this one. Understood? Great! Let's move on.

        • +1

I haven't voted for the other one because I don't think that deal is good either

So you neg voted for one, because the other was cheaper, but the other one doesn't deserve a pos vote…?

So you're happy to share hate, but not love…?

          Nice…

        • @Spackbace: should I explain to you how the voting system works, Spackbace? Maybe just read here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

          Please note:
          1. positive vote should be given if the deal is good
          2. negative vote should be given if the deal is not the cheapest available.

Now think a bit and you will understand my voting or lack of…hopefully.

        • +1

          @barguy:

Oh yeah, sorry I don't participate enough around here to know the system…

I just go off basic morals…

But that's fine, keep being negative, everyone loves Mr. Negative.

        • -1

          @Spackbace: happy to help, Spackbace!

  • Rep,

Can you please add the add on deals to the 20k mAh powerbank?

    • +3

Please send us a email to [email protected]
Our staff work it out for you :)

      • I will email you also in case i can get a slice of the cake!

      • Thanks rep.

They said they'd add it but hasn't been done yet, hopefully soon.

Also there is a mistake on the post or the site:

        Post:

Apple Micro USB to Lightning Adapter +$9.95

        Site:

Apple Micro USB to Lightning Adapter ( +$12.95 )

        Which one is correct?

        • All fixed now :)

  • +1

Wanting to order the 20,00mAh power bank. Site and cart says $44.95. Paying by Paypal, redirect to Paypal and amount is only $40.86.

    Clicked and ordered.

    Confirmation page says:

Products Name:Xiaomi 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 3.6A Dual USB with QC Fast Charge SKU:BY00169 Quantity:1 Price:40.86
    Customers Emall: [email protected]

    Order Total:44.95

Charged $44.95 according Paypal email notfication.

Bug in your website? Please explain. Maybe GST (+10%) but doesn't explain initial Paypal page. Seems the same when I try on the 5,000mAh charger too. Quite confusing.

    • Saw that too when ordering and suspect that you are correct regarding it being the GST free price but it's correct when finalised so no biggie for me.

  • Is powerbank safe to leave inside the glovebox of your car in summertime?

    • I left my 10000 in glovebox this melb summer under sun for 3hrs+ sometimes, seems ok but I wouldnt risk charging anything while in tbe car, does get warm.

    • It's safe, but LiIon/poly batteries degrade rapidly when stored in hot places fully-charged. The capacity will drop.

      • Thanks guys

  • Think I'm finally going to grab the 20k power bank.
Pity the 10k is not available.

  • Any discount coupon redemption code?

  • Have the prices gone up?

  • Just tried to get one of the 10000mAh ones… but the price is $59.95.
Was this just a one-day deal for yesterday?
    (Sorry - newbie question)

    • 10000mAh for $59.95 is not the correct price for this power bank. It shows ~$32 here http://www.mushtato.com.au/genuine-xiaomi-10000mah-portable-…

Unless you are after the new Type-C 10000mAh power bank which is $59.95? http://www.mushtato.com.au/xiaomi-10000mah-mi-power-bank-pro…

Edit: Appears that you have mistaken the Type-C with the Standard one? The standard one is the cheaper alternative if you don't have to charge devices using quick-charge or fast-charging. However even $32 is not the price you should be paying for these, wait a week or two and these will come down to $25-27 :)

  • missed out on this deal!

is there any upcoming deals for the XIAOMI 20000mAh??

  • I'm liking the ribbed and white cover.
I also like the metallic silver on my two other powerbanks. (5000+10400), but I think the cover on this one will be me durable.??
