  • Thanks mate, can I however ask why do people post the us link?

    • +4

Sometime items are on sale/free in the US store and not in Aust at times.
Different times for sales may benefit those that miss the Aust sale.
People may have created a US account before the Aust one came around.
      etc

      • I did create us account first, but somehow when I attempt to purchase they said you are in Australia, so u cant buy this here.

        How do they know?

        • +1

Worked on my amazon account which has a fake US address.

          @surethang:
They don't care about your IP address, you just need a USA address.

They may check if you have received something at that address, but I have 1400 ebooks on my US amazon with no issues.

There is no point having an AUS amazon account, apart from the freebies everything else either costs more or is not available at all

  • Thank you.

  • I have a US account: is there any actual benefit to the converting it to an Australian one?

    • +2

Why not just keep both, or simply create a new one for AU.

      • +1

The libraries aren't shared on a kindle, you would have to log in / out to access some of your books.

The AUS account is worthless IMO

  • +1

You can't use two accounts at the same time in the Kindle app - can you? I wouldn't want to keep having to swap.

  • Thanks OP for the book link

  • Thanks OP! I'll owe you one of the tips in this book help land me a job!

Gold answer for "do you accept minimum wage" YES. Then you'll be hired

  • Newbie question: do you need a kindle account to get it? (Not sure how to buy it..)

    • An Amazon account, at the least. Think the two aren't distinct in any way anyway, afaik.

No doubt the book provides some snazzy answers to interview questions. But reading up 500 questions is just gonna to confuse your brains during the interview and make you sound very unnatural. You need to focus, not dump data.

    • Book has one sample answer per question, but it is not about memorising the answers (coz. each answer is just an example). The book tells you the strategy to approach answering each question. Basically, why the interviewer is asking the question and how you should answer it. You still need to come up with your own answer for each question.

It doesn't hurt to read it. It is free and even if you just picked up 10% or less of it, it will be better than nothing.

"Why did you leave your last job ?"
Company relocated and didn't tell me where.

  • Is there a pdf for this instead of having to go through the Kindle rubbish?
