You sure? … travel to Melbs every week and have seen this hotel sell rooms for $96 p/n … depending on period etc .. and how unorganised I am … just checked on Trivago and see they are priced at $124 for a few random dates in Oct.

Sorry bud, but IMHO - this is not a deal …

  Thanks can you suggest others below $150 in the period ? I struggled to find something in CBD with a lower price around that time. The Ibis Bourke was $124 last trip and has doubled this time round.
  
  I just checked Trivago and this hotel at 28 Oct to 4 Nov is showing $250 per night.

  Well end of October is Melbourne Cup weekend, could be why it's slightly more expensive.
