Not the cheapest price ever but still $50 cheaper than the cheapest on Staticice - including postage!
This is an awesome 21:9 monitor that has G-Sync and can be clocked to 100Hz.
You do need some beefy hardware to drive it though, so be aware.

I mean the Yamakasi 48"

Does Chroma 4:4:4 @ 60hz via HDMI
No G-Sync, but a hell of a lot bigger screen.
Do not buy from http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yamakasi-O48USUT-48-UHD-LED-Monit… seller he is a piece of shit look at his feedback. I bought a camera from him after 15 days he asked more money and canceled my order.
That is a pity. He seems to be the only person you buy the Yamakasi 48" from.
I do agree though, his feedback rating is atrociously bad.
I use a 40" UHD Samsung as a monitor and personally wouldn't go any larger (maybe 42" max). 40" you can read, browse, and multitask while sitting at a comfortable distance. But if you're just using it for games and movies then 48" would probably be fine.
wow…
Indeed. Would be nice if there was a non curved version.
Waiting for the Korean barebone counterparts for $999. Any day now…
YMMV with this monitor but using 31.5" flat IPS I notice colour distortion in the furthest parts of the screen which would be alleviated with a curved screen.
I think curved makes sense when you sit so close.
I wish they did these monitors a bit bigger. 39-40 inches would be amazing.
With a 21:9 aspect ratio, these are already really massive, in the wide sense. Almost as large lengthwise as 3 x 24" 's side by side
For gaming you start running into the problem of not seeing far parts of the screen until you focus on it with such large screens.
Wow the price has gone up? I got mine for $1400 ish last eBay 20% off at futu online
Well you got 20%, current sale is only 15% off.
Makes ~$70 difference to the price you pay…
27" 2560X1440 version is also available for $896.75 free postage. Only 6 left, but bloody good price for it considering it is $1099 at PCCASEGEAR.

Damn, I want one now but the sales are over.
I tempted to get either this, the similar Asus, or one of the big chroma 4:4:4 LCD's someone here referred to in another post (cannot find it)
