Has anybody used these? How do they compare to other sub $50 (or even sub $20) torches?

What else should people be looking at?

I have a nitecore mt21a and it is a well built light and suits my needs for what I wanted it for. I would much rather invest in a reputable product, I have only found one cheap light that I really like.

    • I have few Nitecore torches - TM26, EC11, EA41.
The quality is brilliant - MUCH better then sub $50 torches.
Solid machined or cast body, excellent weather sealing, quality components. No fragile battery cages to break.
The light/beam quality is excellent too.
I dropped mine countless of time & they still are going strong.
Had Duracell batteries leak in EA41, the acid corroded the inside a bitt, but the torch is still working perfectly. Had the same thing happen to one of my LED Lenser torches & it killed it.
I really like them & highly recommend them.

I reckon this is a bargain for this

Like Flyeroz I have dropped mine several times with no ill effect.

Bought a $120 Android Tablet from EverBuying. 3 weeks later. Tracking shows "delivered". Well I didn't sign for one and certainly have not got it. We were home all day during the day they reckon it was delivered.

Raised dispute with EverBuying, they offered to refund half $60.

Raised dispute with PayPal - record shows "delivered"- you loose. Not covered. No prove of delivery - too bad - you loose, goodbye.

Contacted EverBuying again, to their credit, they refunded $60. I lost $60.

It seems to me this Shipping Agent used by EverBuying is gaming the system and you loose everytime. Tell me you can't just make the record to show delivered instead of paying out a claim.

Fellow OzBargainers BE WARNED. And if you think PayPal will look after you'll be wrong too.

    • No signing required for mine which I found odd. And tracking was useless during transit. The link they provide Firefox says is an attack site. Using other means to track, theres no information available and thats with tracking site that tracks just about everything from China. One of mine arrived today, all good so far. The other was posted 2 days after the one that I have so maybe by the end of the week.

      • Yep, good tracking. A month later and mine hasn't turned up - I guess I have lost the everbuying shipping lotto

  • I ordered with Everbuying on 19 Sept. Torch arrived today. Looks good - will have a play tonight
