MSI nVidia GeForce GTX 1070 - $575.20 @ Futu Online on eBay

590
CSUN20

PLEASE NOTE

You can get the card for even less - $575.20 (and also have 2 other models to choose from) via the Group deal. Main link updated to the regular listing for the group buy so you can add it to cart.

Thanks to Ak333 for pointing this out.

Sub $600 price on a 1070. The cheapest I've seen on StaticIce. Great especially given the local warranty.

On par price wise to the previous time Futu online had the 20% off.

It's worth also noting that they have some of the other models for $20 odd more, so it's worth considering those for slightly higher clock speed.

Better get on it before the price increases again. (and maybe get reduced in the last few hours)

$539 delivered from Amazon if you don't mind the no local warranty

Probably worth the $50 extra for the local warranty I reckon. This is a card that should last a good 3 years so warranty would be good for that period. Ironically however I bet it's easier to get a warranty claim through Amazon in the first year.

      • No it is not. I have never had a video card break ever. Amazon covers you for 30 days no questioned asks refund/replacement.

If you pay 10% extra every time you buy a piece of cheap electronics to be covered by warranty or ACL then you are just losing money.

The worst outcome possible is you having to replace the item for full charge. It makes sense to insure items that you cannot replace such as a house. It does not make sense to insure 1 items for 10% of it's value when you are paying $550 bucks for it.

My last card had horrendous coil whine. I'd have gladly paid $50 not to have to put up with it. :P

But I agree. Generally I've noticed that if a card is not DOA (which is rare) then as long as you have good ventilation, they'll last for ages.

        • Working in computer service I have noticed that it's quite common for video cards to die or develop problems.
Not as much as power supplies and hard drives, but pretty up there and a lot more than other components.

    • not quite
i ordered a couple of weeks ago. the price hasn't changed and it worked out to be A$627 delivered for me.

      • Yeah I don't know how people get them for that little delivered. I have to factor in currency conversion so it's more like $570 anyway.

Untz untz untz! It's rave time!

    • I accidentally bought 2 x Asus Strix 1070 OC model, but I only need one.
Please let me know if anyone is interested to buy one from me. I am located in Melb and able to COD after 15th Sep.
Otherwise I have to return the card. :(

      • How does one "accidentally" buy two cards? :P

        • can't read figure…:P

      • Im interested depending on how much you are selling. Pls Pm price? ^^

        • I have return it to futu online.

  • Recently placed an order on Newegg, dropped it for this!

    • Well, sure they may jack up prices. But it's still cheaper than anywhere else locally.

    • i still saved over 100 dollars off the lowest price at Umart. From what i have seen, graphics cards have been one of the only true deals so far where you will actually save some coin.

It is cheaper to get the same thing from the ebay group deal

Cheers, I've updated the deal and gave credit for the find. :)

  • Faster factory GPU overclock (1771 vs 1721) for ~$539 ish here (RAM is 8008 for both AFAIK):

Amazon so no local warranty if that bothers you, I don't consider it worth having.

    • When you factor in foreign currency fees, it's not that much cheaper - with 3% on top it's about $570 when I checked. In fact as per Ak333's post, you can get the MSI/EVGA/Leadtek for $575 locally. And overclock them to the same yourself.

  • Purchased an EVGA 1070 SC. 50 units limit, 25 left.
So im guessing that if i paid for the item then the deal is "ON" right?
Anyways heres hoping cause this is one hell of a deal for oz stock.

  • How come the price of GTX 1070 is coming down, but 1080 is still staying up. So annoyed :(

    • The price isnt coming down. Its just that you are combining deals to get it cheaper.

  • Farout, now I wish I didn't get the EVGA FTW for $644 from newegg.. this deal is $69 cheaper.
