  • saw this in SA catalog too.

  • WA had a mark up on it to $5.79. I would of thought it would be 4.99 nationwide

  • WA had a mark up on it to $5.79.
If my partner heard it, he would've complained!
Anway,About 2 months ago, there was an sale for Nestle Milo 750G, 2 for $5 at wollies.1c cheaper this time so it's good.:) time to stock up again!

Hmm I'd have to vote negative, because two of my local stores did not have any stock.

The deal itself is good, but the negative is for Woolworths.

registered an account just to say that you can get a raincheck for it cos it is in the catalogue. means cheap milo for you for a whole month!!

i love five tablespoons mixed in cold milk topped up with a few ice cubes. yum!

Have we really got to the point that we take a raincheck on sold out Milo? I thought I was pretty cheap but this takes it to the next level.

        • Dude, you're on Ozbargain. This be where the dealin's at!

      • Hmm my comment was removed.

Good advice. I was negative towards the deal previously because even if you can raincheck catalogue items, it's still a pain in the arse and in my opinion bait and switch advertising. I went early, should have been enough stock.

As it is, I'm still out of Milo! (while you enjoy yours)

    • thats harsh man..

  • I often get a rain check on items if they are on special and out of stock. The money you save by shopping and stocking up when things are on special is substantial. For example, last week woolworths had spc baked beans on special at about half price. I got 50 cans and saved about $45 dollars. So rainchecks are definitely worthwhile especially if you can only get into the supermarket later on in the week. Generally they only let you have 6 of the item though. Coles had a thing a few months ago when they would give you a $2 off voucher with the raincheck making the special even cheaper but they have stopped that now at the couple of coles that I shop at. If you are a milo drinker then buying 4 cans alone would save you about $14 dollars so it all adds up.

    • True, buying in bulk on a rain check seems like a good idea. Normally when I'm shopping I'm only after one of each thing. But I've lost count of the amount of times I see people with a whole trolley of Coke etc when they're on sale.

  • Yay, 15 teaspoons of Milo, half a cup of milk.
