Was looking for a washing machine and come across this deal.
The goodguys and harley normal have them for $600+ plus delivery.
JB has them for $574 and free delivery.
I believe this is an older model but it's a good deal nevertheless.

A new washing machine to complement your new house? :P
to replace my 8 years old homemaker 5kg since the family has grown !
hahahahahahahaha!! are you sure???….
Can't afford a new house with Sydney price :(
Does it catch fires?
It's not a Samsung so hopefully not.
Hmm buy from GGs ($749) then claim 30 day guarantee and get it for $539 (after $120 Eftpos card)
/OzBargain way
(However they charge $50 for delivery, so you'd need to own a ute/trailer)
Front loading washing machines are far superior….
The only gripe I have with front loaders are the plastic rim gets mouldy easily (in a closed laundry without windows). And worse part is it's not removable to wash/clean
If you leave the door ajar it dries out and doesn't go mouldy. I've owned front loaders for over 20 years and never had a mould issue.
Maybe every 6 months I run a hot cycle through with 2 cups of vinegar and that helps too.
Overall though, they use far less water, clean clothes better and don't wear clothes out as fast too. You couldn't pay me to go back to a top loader, even if it was free.
I do that too (leaving door wide open). But still happens…maybe the ventilation is not enough…
I do the same open the door and the laundry powder dispensing drawer.
Might be able to do a bleach cycle?
I was going to buy the Front Loader Electrolux but I didn't want to take any chance with my little girl :) I know i'm pretty OTT but oh well. haha
She fits easier in a top-loader huh? Saves having to bath them I guess :)
LMAO.
I had same worry that's why we bought a top loader.
Fast forward 2 years later, I got buyers regret. Top loader just isn't as well designed. It doesn't wash as clean, waste of space since the door open upwards (can't use the top bit to put basket).
Luckily we bought Samsung. The one that got affected by the recall so we returned it and got an LG front loader. Very happy with it. My son helps out and he would stick his head in there. He wouldn't be able to fit in it, let alone close it so I'm not worried over that issue now.
I can't recommend front loader enough. Maybe you can install child gate on the door so she can't get into the laundry room.
Hate these new top loader machines with no middle spinner in the drum
Your clothes come out all tangled
The whife dislike the agitators. Said she would never get one with again
Each to their own i guess
Free delivery is good, but any idea if they will deliver inside the unit (mine is at first floor) and do the fitting as well or will just leave at the street? Also need to get away my old front loader, not sure if they can take away. These can be negotiated when buying in store, but not sure about these when buying online.
Looks like the price went up to $676.00 including delivery. GG reduced it to $675 plus $50 delivery or free pick up.
Great washing machine. We have the 9.5kg for 3 years now and it is just brilliant. Half hour wash cycle if you are in a hurry. Can even set it to wash ahead in time to take advantage of Solar Power. Even has a silent mode for washing at midnight+.
