Not to bagging the post as its a good deal but I have one of these (Ebay) and it gets extremely hot in usb 3 and 2 ports - leave it long enough (couple of minutes) and its untouchable hot.
Due to this heating issues they drop their transfer rates - http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/All-SanDisk-USB-Flash-Drives/Ul…

    Just a FYI

    • Thanks mate

I don't have this issue with mine. Gets warm though.

      • Mine only gets warm when writing, reading is fine. It's not big enough to act as a heatsink during writes.

Would it be ok just to leave in my laptop all the time? or do you think it will get too hot

        • Cant comment on laptop but had it connected to my monitor for hours was fine. Even after dragging 22gb over it was fine.

        • well I solved this problem buy buying a USB 3.0 extension cable. So the worse it can do is burn the cable and not my computer.

I can confirm that the 128 GB ones get super hot, like melting your usb port hot!!!

My 32 GB one only gets a little warm, no more than any other usb.

    • Recall this came up last time these drives were posted. I went with the Samsung drive, much cooler.

      • Yeah it's been mentioned like 100 times the past few months on various posts but still I ordered 2, but I don't transfer much stuff :)

    • Read this after ordering and was a bit concerned. However, copying 8GB of music and left it plugged in my laptop for hours without noticing any heating issue.

    • Mine lives in my car's head unit. Doesn't get hot there at all as it's just reading

  • very nice… means the iphone release is close

Wow they're still selling 3G modems in 2016.

    • Not all phones are 4G compatible.

      Sufficient for basic tasks.

    • I take out the Sim and put it into my 4 G modem, cheaper than full price for Sim. Also cheap way to get lithium battery …..sometimes also has charger depending on which modem is on special.

  • Awesome deal. Instore still advertised as $27 for 32GB. Purchased 11 instore. http://imgur.com/Am7PdSM
