Depends on how long your extension lead is!

Why? Its a rechargeable LED lamp!

Not much worth without invoice or photo

The pic is linked above: https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/192091/41889/4cdece63-…

Its a storewide special according to the helpful lady at the counter so should be available without the need for a receipt :)

      • Picture of the price, not the lampm

        • But its a storewide special … what difference does a picture of the price make?

        • +1

          @OZzieME:

Store or nationwide? Storewide means your store only, nationwide means all stores.

        • Try your local store … They are not online so I thought it more appropriate to suggest storewide (ie. instore) rather than nationwide which might suggest online as well …

The point is that its a great deal and if you really want one then to buy one for 25% of the original price or 50% of the sale price you will probably head down to your local store and grab one.

Storewide, Nationwide, Australiawide, Worldwide …. dunno!

Go to your local store and check it out :)

@OZzieME: I'm at my local now and it's listed as $39. Pic of the receipt means I have a chance of them price matching.

          Without it they say "nah"

        • @bUrd: Ah bugger - I will go back and take a pic tomorrow :) _ I just spent a few minutes trying to find my receipt to save a trip but I think the bin ate that :(

        • @OZzieME: beauty! The $19 one is 500 lumens and not 800, but this will be excellent for bbqs and when the kids want to play at night

          @PJC:
Don't think it's the foldable one based one the post heading…….
Would be good though to have it fold between uses

        • +1

@PJC: no .. it's the non foldable one

        • @OZzieME:
Do you have the PLU number or fine line number of the light?
          Thanks

Try this pic. Is a photo from my local store Belrose NSW on the weekend ($9 so a bit cheaper). Took the photo to post but haven't had a chance yet. Is nice and bright (although I think this one is 400 lumens - from the photo - can't remember what mine actually is).

      • Legend syba - even cheaper!! :)

      • +1

Thanks a lot for that. Went to my local store and got it price matched. Still was advertised @ $49 and there is no chance i would have gotten it for $9 without it.

      • @syba do you know where in the Belrose store they were located ?

        • Ended up going to Belrose and they didn't have stock anymore.

Dural, Campbelltown, Campbelltown and balgolah have stock but it's up to those stores whether or not they reduce the price below $39

        • @OZzieME:

Clearance stock prices are up to the store if it's not nation wide.

But I'm sure if you show multiple stores doing it then theyre more likely to give In.

The person I spoke to today told me the $9 is the 400 lumen one which is 2 years old and there's a newer 500 lumen 800 lumen which is the foldable one.

So maybe since the model is 2 years old they'd want to sell it off cheap rather than carry it.

Got one of these before price drop. The size seems overly large for the loght output. Oh and the beam is very narrow which was a let down.

  • +1

Local store not accepting, Can someone post a receipt showing $9 please.

      • Hey @syba may I know where you got the ruler from please?

        • It's just a scale ruler. Office works sell them for about $30 (the triangle ones), but these flat ones are generally around $20 (Staedtler brand). If needing them to be accurate, make sure it complies to a standard / is a brand name and not a cheap Chinese one. Don't know where I got it exactly - was some online stationary store from memory.

        • @syba:

          Thanks.

      • Thanks :)

    aka the poor man's lightsaber

  • They won't honour the clearance price at Bunnings, Mansfield

    • That sux :(

  • Bunnings Belmont (WA) had alot, current on "special" for $39. They said they would likely drop the price further in the next week or so, but not yet :(

  • OK scoresby have lots but will only do $19

Narre warren will price match and have stock and are doing them at $9

  • Balcatta (WA) has lots at the rear of the lightning section but would not match price. I didn't have the receipt picture from syba so don't know if that'd make any difference.

  • What store was this?

  • +3

Can confirm they are price matching at Bunnings Rockingham. Spoke to Tracey. They had just opened a new box of them which was still on the top shelf.
    Here's the price match:

    Here's my receipt too:

    • Excellent, I'll pop into the Albany store on Saturday and show them this receipt. Went in there yesterday and there are heaps.

      • Any joy on the pricing?

        • Didn't go out, weather was too crap as you would know :)

        • @bUrd:
Night shift, outside, last 3 nights. I certainly know…….

    • Thanks for the receipt. I've tried the Melville and Rockingham store, they won't allow the price match with your receipt. Their excuse is that the price was for damaged product and there is no way they will drop it down to $9. :(

  • Rydalmere won't price match. They don't price match "clearance" items.

  • +1

Bunnings at Prospect SA has them for $19.50 if anyone is interested.

I got one at Bunnings Kirawee yesterday. They are advertised at $39.

    Here's what I discovered:

There are 3 colours - red, green and blue. They all have different SKUs and all 3 SKUs have different prices but they are all bundled in the one area.

The Blue lights scan at $15.00. I asked if they'd price match with Bunnings Belrose and the manager agreed, so I got it for $9.

The red & green ones scan at $39

  • Here is a receipt to use ..

Still a lot in vic stores :)

    • 31 left at Ballarat, and I was told that they're only $9 because they're discontinued and it's up to the individual stores to sell them at the clearance price when there are only a few left.

SO they wouldn't price match the receipts.

  • Picked up the last one at Balgowlah

  • +1

Narellan NSW have heaps and agreed to price match at $9, but were a bit reluctant to do so (they ended up having to escalate a few times before anyone would give a yes/no), they did say someone else had asked earlier in the day (likely another Ozbargainer as they mentioned Belrose having them at $9).

Note there are 2 different models that look almost identical, and were all in the same area - one model is 500 lumens 96 LEDs and has a half/full power mode and flashing red mode (red are separate LEDs), other is 400 lumens 120 LEDs and no red LEDs. All other specs are the same (including run time) so best off getting the 500 lumen model if you can (not sure if they're meant to be on clearance, but they were all in the same spot).

  • Ended up buying one. I always like the Click branded stuff, very good for the price you pay.

I agree that the light is very big but good quality for the price to pay especially for $9.
I like the magnetic ends but it's a shame you cant run the light of 240 mains instead of the battery.

Hopefully the foldable model goes on sale soon.

  • Yep, they are clearing this type and replace with the new foldable type.

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/click-800lm-foldable-led-mega-wo…

  • Caroline springs have plenty of them in stock, near aisle 46. They're honouring $9 price match.

  • I bought it as the matching price at Belmont WA store, but the service of this store is really bad, firstly they told me can't match the price, because bunnings is the same company, after that, they told me the barcode is not match for their product, then I find the other receipt is the same code with their product but the staff told me they need the real receipt to match it. Ok, it is fine and I find their manager to match it, finally the manager match the price for me, but it is the 400 lumens one.

  • I bought one of these some time ago and used it last night during Adelaide's blackout but now not sure which charger to use to re-charge it.Can someone tell me the brand and voltage of the 240V charger please.Must label it next time.

    • Brand is wait for it…Yuyao City Yuhang Electric Appliance Co LTD. Model: YH-SAA410600500D. 6v 500mA plug centre postive.

Hope this helps and you didn't have any damage from the storm.

  • Thanks for that, found it and all's good
