Free Leggo’s Pizza Board and Mini Recipe Booklet When You Buy 3 Leggo’s Paste Products @ Woolworths

120

Just noticed this in the Woolies catalogue:

"Receive a FREE Leggo’s Pizza Board and mini recipe booklet (with 13 delicious recipes!) if you buy 3 Leggo’s Paste products 🍕 Exclusive at Woolworths! This offer ends on August 23rd, or while stocks last, so hurry!"

I believe it's redeemed in store - but haven't done it to confirm. Couldn't see any further details on their website.

  • Leggo's has increasing competition from China now. They are the expensive option these days (and have been for years). God knows how the Australian stuff is grown & god knows how the Chinese stuff is grown too. If you aren't doing it yourself, you simply don't know.

    • Yeah - and unfortunately it doesn't look like it's on special this week or next - but just depending on if you want/need a pizza board whether it's worth buying the 3 products.

Saw the board in store. it's pretty thin :P

    • +2

I thought a pizza board was supposed to be thin

      • +1

That's the point of them, thin so you can slide it under your pizza without messing up the edge you hit.

        • oh i didn't know that. thought it was just a cheap low quality pizza board :P

  • I saw these in my local Woolworths on the weekend. The pizza board is very thin and does not look like it will last very long. If you need 3 Leggo's products it is worth grabbing but I would not go out of my way to get this.

    • Ok - I haven't seen it, just the pic in the catalogue.

What exactly do you think will happen to the board?

  • Saw the board in store. it's pretty thin :P

  • How much is the board worth because the Leggo pastes are on special at Coles.

    • Nothing

    • On Woolworths website they have it at $14.95 - and if it's like previous promos you could buy it at that price (so it scans at something) but when you add the participating products it becomes "free".

As to the Coles on special comparison:

Leggo's Paste 2 x 140g at Wollies is $2.80 v Coles $2.00 = $0.80 difference x 3 = $2.40 extra to get from Woolies to get the board "worth" $14.95 - but per above comments, it's thin and crappy - so is it worth $2.40 extra? Is it worth anything?

Similar boards at Kmart go for around $10.

Damn my eyes! I read it as a free LEGO pizza board! Doh :P

  • Why not just eat it off the tray it was cooked on?

  • I actually bought 3 leggo paste for about $10 and got the free board today, found out mine was already broken when home, had to replace with another one. better check out when you bought it.

I still regularly use the two Pizza pans that Leggo gave out a few years back. They are both going strong.

As for this deal, the board looks like a nice charcuterie board if you are not interested in using it for Pizza.

My excuse that it's still very early.

I looked at this title and saw Lego Board, then was disappointed when I looked at it properly. I can't believe those things are over $20.
