or about 66,000 litres of plain old water. This is apparently equivalent to providing nearly 4 people with water supply in africa for a whole year.

        • @altomic:
How much water would 160bucks buy over there?

My personal favourite in the entire JW range

By far their best of the labels.

Stupid question: Are these usually drunk by themselves? or is it usually mixed with something else eg. 1982 diet coke?

    • +2

      LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

    • i guess you answered your own question, by prefacing it with "Stupid question".

Wow there's really a 1982 diet coke and if so where would you buy it?

    • That's when Diet coke was introduced, i bet if you are happy to travel to Atlanta they would have a batch from 1982. though not sure if you will survive after drinking that!

      • You got the right one baby!

It looks like Dan Murphy's has lowered their price to match this offer. They now have it for $159.95.
If you use discounted egift cards and Cashrewards, it will come to $143.95.

Mix it with your 90's can of Crystal Pepsi?

  • Mix it with pumpkin soup

  • I would stick to black or double black. But good deal..

Personally prefer their Platinum, Green, Blue then Double Black (in that order).

    • And the Gold doesn't even make the list?

      • For some reason the Gold isn't distinguishable for me anymore, I stopped buying Gold Label when they changed it to Gold Reserve.

        • You make a good point - there's no really Gold Label any more.

  • You sometimes see the 1 litre bottle for $200 which is cheaper by volume. I am waiting for this.

  • Need to get a girl drunk this weekend and watch Netflix together

  • Is it really worth the asking price? Or is a nice single malt better than this mass marketed booze?

    • You can get better Scotch for the price but it does make a good gift because of the perceived prestige and the very high every day price.

    • I prefer blended malts to this, JW Green and Monkey Shoulder are both much better IMO

      • I haven't tried the Monkey Shoulder but the Green is definitely my favourite in the JW range.

  • How do you use the voucher online?

    • You cannot. It's an in store only coupon.

      • Oh but the voucher says in store or online.

        • Yeh but don't think it works online anymore. Apparently only working in store.

        • Online alcohol point of sale purchasing
