  • These look interesting.. Thoughts please!! :D

    • My thoughts are, what exactly are you referring to?

From my quick googling, the headphones appear to be pretty mediocre. Worse than the Hybrid's or Piston 3's. Disappointing.

I bought the Mi Capsule two weeks ago and they are far mediocre to the Hybrid and Piston 3s, both of which i have. Don't make the same mistake i did —- buy the Hybrid or Piston instead.

Agree. I bought the Mi Capsule from Geekbuying as well a few weeks ago when they had a Mi sale. The sound quality is way below average. The earbuds do not sit well and fall out easily if you have any minor head movements. Not recommended.

  • The code ZDFWSHZE for the version with the headphones is still working to bring price to US$25.

Bought the Virtoba VR Headset awhile ago (version with headphones). While it's certainly head and shoulders above some of the other crap you can buy, it's remains a painful experience. The eye lenses still give a 'boxed' feel to the screen regardless of it's high FOV. Perhaps this will always remain a limiting factor to todays VR headsets regardless of price. And the focus on it… damn it gives me headaches very quickly. It'll hit you well before any motion sickness. No matter how much I tweak the focus, it always seems to leave me in pain. Both the kids and the wife experienced the same thing. The whole family suffering from a headache doesn't make it for a pleasant night in.

Good points? The padding at least makes the wrap around the head feel fine. I like that the door that holds the phone doesn't flop completely open so dropping your phone won't happen. Also holds the phone quite well.

Not something I would recommend to anyone, but for $22AU, it's a cheap version of a handover?

    • Thanks for the review - was close to buying!

Are you sure the wife is not just saying that she has a headache? It is a common excuse.
