So how is this any better then taking a photo & printing to PDF?
Auto perspective correction, auto-crop, snap-to-edge for manual crop, contrast enhancement filters (good for whiteboards), export multiple pages in a single pdf, export to jpg (handy for submitting docs to sites that don't accept pdf), OCR to find docs by text search or export as .txt.

Good use of Google rewards money. I've been using this app for ages, it never ceases to amaze me how clear the scans are!
What is the major difference between this and Microsoft Office Lens making this so much popular?
In part, it was around long before Office Lens. But it also has easier cropping and better PDF support and export options.

Paid for this ages ago, then they went to a subscription based service so I lost the premium license. Now it's back to premium license again? Not showing up in my list of apps as paid. Wonder when these camscammers are going to change models again.
