Similarly already had HITMAN but was keen to get Lara Croft, was willing to pay but free is best :)
I don't normally enjoy puzzle games but LC:GO kept me hooked from beginning to end. Thought it had a really good learning curve and loved how it progressively introduces new skills as the levels get harder.
Unfortunately I lost interest with Hitman:GO within the first 10 or so puzzles as it just felt too repetitive. Perhaps it was because I played it after LC:GO and was expecting something really similar.
Same experience - though I played them the other way around. Still lost interest with Hitman after around the same amount of time as you, and I wasn't even comparing it to the superior LC:GO.
Glad to hear it as I simply thought my expectations were set too high because of my previous experience. Hitman: Sniper kept playing for a little longer if you're a fan Agent 47 - still nowhere near the scale LC:GO did though. Wish I could find more mobile games that are just as enjoyable.
For Hitman Go on Android, it's ever so slightly cheaper ($1.38AU) to get it as part of the current Humble Mobile Bundle

already have hitman go on my windows phone, but grabbed lara croft on my nexus 7 to use play credit.
Humble Bundle has this for $1 with a bunch of other games right now.
