    Hi Guys, I have read your comments and here is the deal.
    Yes I will ship interstate and the best way to buy is to call, tell me what you want, I will get you a shipping price, call you back or email you a quote with the total and supply our Bank details for direct deposit. I have had quite a big response so far and some common questions are:
    Q Is there only display stock?
    A yes but I have a couple of B&W speakers in a box for a small fraction higher than the display prices as above. call me for more specifics
    Q Is there still warranty on display stock?
    A Yes, there is the full warranty as if it was never opened from the box

    Q How long is the warranty?
    A The limited warranty is valid for a period of five years* from the date of purchase or two years* for electronics including amplified loudspeakers.

    As for wisc, ring me bro, I have a Sony Full HD Projector VPLHW15 on display with just over 400hrs. Let me know if you are interested.

        Hi Wisc,

        Yeh pretty good pricing, but I only know of 1 online dealer that is officially recognized by sony australia as an authorised internet dealer and that is graysonline http://www.graysonline.com/search.aspx?q=sony+

        You might as well consider all other internet deals on sony projectors as "grey imports" with limited warranty and customer back up. ie you will not get a warranty repair done by an authorised sony repair agent. I urge anyone to consider this when looking for a bargain online. At least when you buy throught a retail store or authorised Sony online dealer you have the peice of mind that you will receive product support and warranty.

        What if you bought a $3500 projector from a website that didn't exist a week later? Something to think about anyway. Thanks for your enquiry and I appreciate your time and the link.

          yeah i was going to say probably a grey import, still a lot of the time when you buy stuff OS, its quite a few hundred dollars cheaper than anything Australian delivered. still works out cheaper even if you do need to send it back overseas… no local service though so it is a bit of a pain if you have a local service centre.

          maybe you could pass that back up the lines, find out why things are so much more expensive over here!

          yeah i know australia is a small market, but when i can ship something from the US to Australia and save hundreds (if not over a k) something is seriously wrong if the company that makes the stuff cant do similar…

          not having a go, just saying that this is ozbargains… people are looking for the cheapest price possible… although some people will want to comfort to know that there is an Australian warranty too…

It's up to the consumer to decide, and it's better that thet have the knowledge before they make a choice so they know the Pro's and Cons :)I accept yout point that this is a lowest price website, and that's why people leave comments to give there opinion on a deal,good or bad. thanks for your comments!

                @wisc: Genuines aren't cheap unfortunately! they go for $129 instores but you might get them cheaper online. Stick with the genuine article, don't go for the aftermarkets, I have heard to many bad things about them!

                  @Dewysan: too late, bought a battery grip off ebay and a couple came with it!
                  only using them in the battery grip though…
                  was a bit worried about it as well… (considering the camera cost over a k)

                  AND they are never as good as the real deal… they always brag more capacity than the originals, but never deliver,
                  in fact i'm hoping that the two of these last as long as the single sony battery.
