      Me too

eBay. I picked up a 10W 12V LED flood light with a PIR sensor for less than $15 and run it off a DIY solar system.

Also picked up ten standard flood lights like the OP is advertising (except 12V) for $50 delivered.

      • Here is my $ 0.02 rant.

I bought some "standard" 10W ones from a brick and mortar electrical wholesaler, about $30 each. They are awesome. I then thought, surely the cheapies online (eBay) are just as good for $5 each, bought 10 for $50 like Noma. Figured even if they were crap, they were cheap.

Comparing them, they look very similar, expensive ones are noticeably heavier.

Opened a cheap one, the earth pin from the plug has the wire running into the housing, but that's it. It just ends, not connected to anything, not terminated, just a bit of cut wire!

Decided to replace the 4 500w worklight stand lights with the cheap LED floods. I bought them, may as well use them.

The 4 cheapies are still not as bright as a single decent one. Also, two have stopped working… I think about 8 would be needed for the same light output of the proper one.

Now I can't vouch for the ones in this post, but do yourselves a favour and buy decent ones, not the 10 for $50 deals.

    very durable

How long do you guarantee they will last?

    • At least 3 years they will last. Put them into a well-ventilated space is a good way to make them last longer.

    Isn't this $27.90 gst exclusive?

    • Yes, shipping included.

  • My downlight gives out more light than this floodlight.

    • This thing is 800 lumens. That's more than a typical downlight.

      • Typical = cheap Bunnings lights. I have mine connected to a push butter dimmer. Hardly use it at full brightness.

In the dark, your eyes automatically adjust so that you don't need anything like the same amount of light to be able to see.

A 10W COB like this (probably more like 600 Lumens) will illuminate a pretty big area. Not super-bright, but far better than you might think.

    AUD $27.9 Delivered ($17.9/E)

That's a bit of a messy title - sounds like it's coming from China!

    Should say:

    $19.69 + Delivery ex Melb

Also you need to disclose your delivery charges in the Description.

For example, is there a discount for purchasing more than one? A flat rate postage, etc.

I didn't see anything on your webpage, so people need to know that in advance.

    • Thanks for your advice, the details about delivery charges will be added in the description soon. Basically, buying more items, pay less postage.

  • The price will back to $19.90/each, after 10th Aug.
