hey i remember glebe local council was giving out this kind of thing just over a year ago, it's a little round plastic cannister with a metal lining and flip lid with key chain, but i wonder how many actually drop their ash/butts into these things?

Ordered one for my friend. I keep telling him to quit but he doesn't, this wont help but it will make it less likely to be thrown into the gutter.
Great idea. I usually put it back in my pack of smokes if i can't find a bin, but it makes the rest of them stink.

I used to have a friend who would put them in her pocket. Used to. Disgusting people those smokers.
I think this is a great initiative. I've recently given up smoking and was always a courteous smoker, but I still have friends who smoke so I'll be sure to grab them one.
