          both are nice!
hmmmm but I dont want to spend money~

        • @uccoffee: Oh man I hate spending money too

        • @Savas:

          Me three!

      • I just bought the Tronsmart Presto a few days ago. Not for 28USD though, I got it for $24 USD at Aliexpress (seems to have gone more expensive now).

Anyway, reasons to get this over the Aukey:
Charges itself fast at 5V/3A, 5.5hrs to full charge. The aukey will take a day at least to charge, what with the slow charging and the massive capacity.
Will charge my nexus 6p at full rate.
        Cute and portable :)

    • Now that phones are getting lighter they are thinking of making the battery packs less heavy as well. Back when I had my Nokia 1100 I hardly could tell the difference.

      • +1

I'd be surprised if they could do that just by thinking about it. Would've been done already.

Beats me how anyone could need even 12,000mAH if it's solely for a phone since that is "5 batteries worth" (phone battery + 4 x phone battery capacity if the phone is 3000mAh) to start with but I guess someone is going to correct me :D

        • Haha true, but then some people have iPhones

Switch on GPS, wifi, bluetooth, max screen brightness and watching video or playing games and you could easily eat through 12,000mAH in a day.

        • Okay I'll correct you ;)

Firstly, they are being sneaky by giving you a capacity in amp hours instead of watt hours. This is fine if you know the voltage, but you don't. Most of them rate at 3.3v which makes this battery around 40wh, which is 8000mah at the 5v you will charge your phone at.

Secondly, tronsmart claim 93% conversion on the presto, which if very good.

So you could expect 2-3 charges depending on your phone.

        • Anyone with a phone older than a year….

I played/walked pokemon for a couple of hours on the weekend, took around 30%-40% of my s7 edge battery, can't imagine older phones.

I also don't turn on bluetooth

  • Seems nice, if only this has QC input as well this would be perfect.

    • can't wait for that, I'm going to wait it out. eventually they'll make it. pbanks have come a long way in a short time

it does charge at 5V/3A through usb-c which is pretty fast, need to buy a separate usb c wall charger though as it's not included.

  • +1

Sounds better than the Xiaomi 10000 as it has both USB-C input and output.

    Should charge at 15W (5V/3A) using a USB-C to USB-C cable.

    • +2

The Xiaomi pro is slim. This is a brick.

    • No QC in though, it seems.

      • +3

5V/3A input and a charge time of 5.5hrs, that's good enough for me. Perfect for nexus owners.

    • Not really. This can't QC and it's thick.

  • Coupon is expired?

  • Sorry, the coupon code has expired. Please apply a new one.

That sold quicker than expected. I'll see if it can be extended.

    • Buggar, any update if that coupon can be extended?

      • No unfortunately. It'll have to be next time.

The Amazon listing says the weight is 10.7 oz or 303g.

  • the real question is, which of these powerbanks will get here the fastest? because i cant let my gyms get taken over mate they need to be here quick!

    • Trying to keep them for more than a day is a losing battle my friend.

  • I've got one of these in the office, was going to range them but the design aesthetics put people off..

That being said it does charge quick and works pretty well.

If you can get over the weight then the USB-C connectivity is a great perk, not many powerbanks natively will charge USB Type-C besides the more expensive brands Anker etc.
