remember you can pickup
Those are different devices.
similar..both are made by ZTE both are 10 devices.and these are newer units
But this is a 4GX device against those 4G.
(I've bought 3G+ Telstra Pocket WiFi with 2GB for $2 at Kmart, still "made by ZTE both are 10 devices" - it's "similar", but much slower.)
If you only need 4G, try Coles Telstra Prepaid 4G Wi-Fi (incl 2GB for 30 days) $24.50 advertised again from Wednesday. Unless you are in a good 4G area, you won't see the benefit.
Will these work in overseas region? I've lost count what frequencies Telstra uses now
this will take longer to answer than you think =(
Different carrier, different 4G frequency. Even in Australia. Even more so overseas.
damn, i was hoping to buy this for an overseas relative who wants to convert his people mover into a mobile office. wifi modems overseas are surprisingly expensive.
Does it come with any bonus startup data?
ZTE quality on Pocket WIFI is pretty poor to say the least and not very stable in their connection. Would much prefer the Netgear or Huawei ones TBH.
what is the usual price for this one? Any free data included?
Doesn't specify any included data through HN in their description.
Telstra site has it for $99 with 3GB/30 days included data.
Telstra site is different model, MF910B with a LCD screen.
This one has no LCD screen but only 4 LED indicators Model is MF910V.
good spotting. my bad!
$59 at Good Guys.
ok after searching i found my answer.. save $10 off RRP and comes 2GB/30Days data
some shops selling for $59 with 2GB/30days data
http://jmcomm.com.au/shop-online/mobile-handsets/telstra-bro…
Telstra shop selling as car wifi kit, I assume it comes with cradle and car adaptor for $79 also with 2GB/30days.

Thanks for the Telstra link. Wanted to check with 24x7 Chat what else the bundle came with apart from the "cradle", but current position in queue is 21, so probably won't bother. LOL
Interesting to note it's sold with a Car Kit, so I wonder if it will automatically power on when I started the car if the battery was already flat.
An alternative to this Pocket WiFi is a 4GX phone, although battery life won't be as good. Telstra Buzz $59 is quite good as a hotspot - have used it as hotspot since late last year.
$2.69 to unlock it seems: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Unlock-Code-ZTE-Grand-K83-Blade-V…
