Im finally biting the bullet and getting a PS4. I think this is a great deal with the second controller. The 500GB doesn't really worry me as Ive got a heap of HDD's around the house I will replace it with. Im looking to get 5% off gift cards and hopefully find a friend that works there and also get their staff 5% off discount

Thanks. Might be a silly one, but once I register, can I instantly purchase and print the Ww/BigW gift cards? I see they claim it's a quick process and cards are emailed with any sum one needs, but I also imagine waiting while stuff is being processed etc.

Just bought it from my local Big W, came back home… Opened both casings… Empty. Why did it have to be this way. :(
You mean they handed you over empty game cases?. They forgot to take the discs out of the disc storage draws. You got ripped.
I had no issues with both discs inside cases.

Kinda shooked it and couldnt hear anything move in the box. Also slightly lifted the edge and couldnt see no booklets. Made sure i left the big w sticker seal in tact just in case it was empty
Thought I'd update everyone.
I've just called up Big W and they checked their system and found that there was an extra copy of the game compared to boxes. Just needed to go in store to collect it

A customer at Big W Sunshine was given the option to choose another game since they ran out of stock of the Dishonored. He swapped it for Black Ops.

got 2 sets from caboolture last night, they said they had quite a few sets of both black and white.
big whitfords have got some ( black ) PS4, picked one up tonight at 8.50pm. They said they didn't have fallout 4 and that i could swap it , but when i went there 10 minutes later they said they found fallout 4 so i had to have that .. they said someone put the game in the wrong spot..

I bought the PS4 console only last week at Big W for $349. I called the store and they helped yesterday to sell me the extra controller for the difference: $9.00 ($358-$349). and whats better is that the customer service asked me not to worry about the $9. and I was not to argue with him then.
Very impressed with their help. If you are on the same boat, it might be worth a try too.

Bought a black one at Underwood, QLD today. It seems they still have many left in stock. I called the Big W at Garden City and Calamvale earlier but they had no more stock. Garden City did mention that they should be getting in more stock next week. I was able to get Black Ops since the store didn't have any left of the Dishonoured.
I also didn't want Dishonored, the guy at the store didn't allow me to swap a game for another game. I've been told I could get $30-ish discount if I don't take both games.
I purchased a white bundle from Ringwoid and whilst Sunshine said no to swapping games, Ringwood said yes to a store credit and then price matched Costco on a couple of games. UC4 $60.

I went to Big W at Rockdale here in NSW and the guy gave me Uncharted 4 because they had no copies of Dishonoured left. I was also given the 500GB black since the white ones were out.
So all up…still a massive bargain. 500GB Black PS4 + Uncharted 4 + Fallout 4 + Red PS4 controller for $378.
BTW…I asked at JB Hifi World Square and EB Games World Square and they would not price match.
