    Remember folks, this is without any luggage. Adding 20kg luggage would cost about $140 more. then adding meals and stuff quickly adds up.

    Just keep in mind that most other airlines have 30 kgs of baggage + food included in the price.

      Probably cheaper just to take a carry on backpack and buy a wardrobe when you arrive, then leave it there when you return. Assuming you are average 'indian' size - at 6ft3 it was hard to find stuff that fit.

        I can agree about footwear but clothes were fairly easy to find for me..

        After repeatedly buying clothes made in India from Primark (UK) for a few pounds I imagined India would be dirt-cheap for clothing, but I think it's hard for tourists to pay near local prices in markets without a tonne of effort.

        Wanting to look like a clichéd tourist I thought the traditional style of clothing would be cheap but I was repeatedly told it was "premium" quality. I said I was looking for low quality but nobody sold that… The t-shirts were overly patterned and more expensive than K-mart.

        The cheapest shirts in Asia tend to say "I <3 {this city's initials}".
