        yeah but some older machines still only have use 2.0 ports so for those users it's fine ….. usb 3 wouldn't make it any faster.

        It's still a slow drive for USB 2.0. Wikipedia states:

        typical fast drives from this generation claim to read at up to 30 MByte/s and write at about half that rate

        Plenty of people in the previous deals saying their transfer rates were closer to 4MByte/s than the stated maximum of 10.

        those 4MB/s are the random writes. sequential writes are about 9-10MB/s.

    Yes its not bad but its very slow even for USB2 and you either have to spend another $51 or its $5.50 postage
    so $8.49 all up

  yeah it I was at office works I'd pick up a few but postage or having to get to the free shipping level kills it for me.
