Lord of the Fries has what is most likely the worst chips in Melbourne, to be honest.
Man definetely…the one outside Flinder street station has the smell of burnt motor oil ,it is terrible!You can smell it from 100 meters!!

I like Rocketburger for their disco fries, although I do acknowledge they're maybe just above average chips without the cheese and gravy.

They used to be really good, but I agree they're pretty terrible now. The one at Flinders I find is always bad. I have found the one at Southern Cross to be good or better ~50% of the time. Agree with comments about sauce on the side.
I’ve only tried their Sweet potato fries and it tasted ok. Not the best but not the worst fries I’ve ever had. The McCain sweet potato chips cooked in the oven taste better.
Their hot dogs taste like $1 ikea ones at best. Plus a few fancy toppings n sauces

I only found out a few months ago.
I hope something is sacrificed to make up for their poor food!
Um, actually vegetation, with vegan options.
It interests me how few people notice, how bad must the meat be in your average burger place that you don't notice that you've eating a textured soy alternative.
But it also seems they have not kept the quality control standards up on the franchises, so people will notice more.
I blindly tried a chicken nugget and I noticed straight away to be honest. But I have yet to try a burger there.

They have a very similar taste/texture to normal burgers so I'm not remotely surprised so many people don't notice. The only real difference I can tell is theyre slightly smoother and break quite easily.
Food snobs will no doubt have a problem with it, but any normal person who finds normal burgers to be fine would like it.

Agree. Boggles me. I can't even finish the fries. I can understand if their burger is bad for meat eater like me.. But the fries?!
I don't get it. They have the worse fries in the world. Their double frying technique legit makes their fries worse not better.
Everybody is better off going to the local fish and chip shop.

One opened in Wesfield Parra a little while ago. Nothing on the menu looks the slightest bit tempting and I haven't tried.
Has the store at George St Sydney near event cinemas closed down? It's not on their site- only a different one near central station.
Edit: it is still open. These fries are bad- should have heated up a cardboard box in the microwave and eaten that instead. Free sauce though was surprising.
just got my fries at the Perth store. only the classic fries were being given away. they're pretty good, actually.
