      5 minutes, that's for the whole 50 pieces, including the time to swap them out in between them breaking/blunting.

      Not worth cheaping out on drill bits, especially if you get a broken one stuck in a hole!

        I disagree. Everyone should have a throwaway pile of cheapies. There are times where you know you're going to ruin the drill bit and you don't want to waste your good ones.

        I ruined two or three bits drilling holes through thick steel lintels with concrete on the other side. To be fair, those weren't great bits to start with, but they weren't awful. If I had to do that again, I'd buy a bulk pack from ebay ahead of time and just assume each one could manage one hole. Buying a dozen or so eBay ones is still cheaper than ruining one good bit.
