  • Just got the email for this promotion. It doesn't really make it clear what brands are covered and what ones aren't included. There are pictures of products but I can't see the brand I want there.

I want some 1 litre QV Wash made by Ego. This products goes on special from time to time but I've never seen it at half price. Ego products seem to be excluded from some Priceline promotions but I don't know their status for this promotion.

  • nevermind found this
Savings and stock may vary in stores and online

  • Priceline 50% off retailers recommended retailing price.
For example: Swisse men's multi: RRP 70
    Price normal shelf price 45

The 50% discount price will be 50% of 70=$35.

    • It seems there's a difference between chemistwarehouse.com.au RRP and Priceline RRP (I've seen this before too).

Currently that item at Priceline: was $54.99, now $34.99 (before this sale) https://www.priceline.com.au/brand/swisse/swisse-men-s-ultiv…

      and

Chemist Warehouse: was $69.95, now $29.99
      http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/55511/Swisse-Men-39-s…

Both are the 120 tablet pack of Swisse Ultivite for Men

      • 50% off at chemist warehouse is always off rrp

50% off at priceline/colesworth is meant to be off their normal selling price which is less than rrp, except for supplements at priceline it's off rrp for this sale

        • That doesn't quite work, example:

          From Swisse:
          Men's Ultivite $59.95RRP

          From Priceline:
          Men's Ultivite: was $54.99, now $34.99

Priceline is supposed to be having 50% off, none of the figures fit in with 50% off!

I understand that Priceline doesn't need to have sold it at full retail price but which ever way you look at it, it's not 50% off from anything..

        • @nismo:

          :)

        • @tonester:
It doesn't matter what numbers you look at there is no 50% off

I even spoke to a store manager about it and he was confused and had no answer!

        • @nismo:

everything here is 50% off :)

        • @tonester:

This discussion was always about Swisse, particularly their multi vitamins :)

          Not sure why the deviation.

I am already well aware of actual 50% off products… In my post and your offshoot.

        • @nismo:

so you missed my previous bolded and italicised comments which stated that vitamin supplements are 50% off rrp like chemist warehouse?

          $69.95 @ Swisse
          $34.97 @ Priceline

  • How about Dove soap?

Excludes Gillette cartridges. Welp, got excited for nothing.

  • Will be interesting to see if the Listerine Pocket packs actually go down to half price! I have never seen them cheaper than full price of $6.50….

Thanks for the list. Brand that I want isn't included. If only they bother mentioning included brands in their email.

Now a decent price for Oral-B Electric Toothbrush heads as compared to the regular rip-off pricing.

    • what about the actual Oral B brushes - i've been wanting to get into electric brushes - any recommendations here?

      • I bought this one on sale a few months ago:

        https://www.priceline.com.au/brand/oral-b/oral-b-professiona…

This one is good because it has a light-up pressure sensor. So if you press too hard it will tell you. I personally think this is the only extra feature worth paying for. Great toothbrush. This is my second one. First one lasted about 5 years.

        • great, thank you i was thinking about that one too

      • I bought the Triumph 5000 last year, but it has features that I don't use - namely different modes and a separate small lcd.
I would probably go with the 1000, no idea how it differs from the 500 or 700 though.

Found this table shwoing the difference for models 1000 and up.
        http://www.freysmiles.com/images/Oral-B-Toothbrush-Compariso…

I would definitely recommend buying an electric toothbrush though. You wont regret it, and this is a good deal.
Search Ozb for other deals that have been posted regarding Oral-B brushes.

        • 700 doesn't have the pressure sensor. But otherwise is similar to the 1000. Would go the 1000 due to it being possible to press too hard and scrub off enamel so better to get the light which warns you you're pressing too hard :) I'm also tempted as my 1000 is quite old, a bit mouldy and black is sexy…

        • 1000 it is thanks guys! but i found it so much cheaper at target!
          $35 https://www.target.com.au/p/oral-b-professional-care-1/46196…

        • Was one available online to buy? Or you find one in store?

        • @havok44: it isn't in black and good luck finding it in store :) I might try out my local Target tho now… haha

      • ..Also i have only ever used the floss action heads. Am going to purchase/try the regular precision clean heads - prob same thing really, just marketing.

it appears to be free postage if you spend over $100 so if you go the 1000, buy extra heads to put it over. You will want them at this price.

Lots of great deals, especially Australis for half price. Thanks!

    • My other half was ecstatic about Australis being half price :D

  • So, I'm a clueless male - what do you guys (men) use for face moisturing etc?

  • +1

Thanks OP. Finally spent $200 to meet Amex/Priceline limit to get 13500 + 2000 points.

  • I put an order in that came to $113. Just got an email refunding me $108 - almost everything I ordered was unavailable.
I put my order through at 1am - so within an hour of the promo starting everything sold out? These items are still being displayed as available on the website.

    • What?!?!? I was just about to put an order through online as the stores have ran out of my products… I wonder if it is worth it as I don't want to make the order unless she shipping is worth it…

      Which brand/products did you order?

      • Sorry for the late reply - apparently their system messed up my order. I called them to ask why only one product had gone through and, after they looked into it, they said there was an error with the system and offered me the opportunity to re-do the order.
The mistake was at their end, but their customer service was excellent after I called to find out what had happened.
