Quite a refreshing deal if you ask me, thanks tonester!

  • Brilliant idea to suggest price beat at Chemist Warehouse, especially since CW is pretty much everywhere compared to Priceline.

I didn't know CW has a price beat policy. Where have I been? Thanks OP

    • But you need to present the competitors genuine paper catalogue price. So unless you have one not really worth it.

In Melbourne cbd stores refuse price beat, despite producing the policy on their website. I had a big argument once with their manager, I just don't shop there anymore

      • Is that not false advertising?
Not saying it is worth it, but if you were to raise this with the appropriate authority (who would that be - ACCC?) - won't they be in trouble?

        • +2

ACCC is a joke, even in most extreme cases they issue petty fines that aren't worth the trouble.

      • Ashfield store price matched mine today, but didn't give 10% beat nor did they mention about beating it :/

didn't even know these fresh strip things still existed haven't seen them in like 5 years

    • yes they used to be free back then - everyone gave them away as promos :)

  • What are the Listerine PocketPaks Fresh Bursts like?

    • +1

like dehydrated mouth wash. Not a fan, v strong. I prefer mints.

  • They also have the 36pk strepsils for $4.49 in honey lemon.

    • but they're not strepsils plus :(

      • What does the plus do that regular ones don't?

        • numb the throat via anaesthetic :)

  • Just beware too, I went in store today and website prices are cheaper than in store
They wouldn't match it either…….wasn't impressed

    • Which products in question?

      • Specifically I went to purchase Listerine and a perfume set
I did buy a couple of other items, Swisse vitamins, floss and personal products that scanned the same

  • The $9.95 shipping charge kind of negates this deal if it is only available online.

    • It's available in-store too (I went to my local Priceline store yesterday).

  • Officeworks would be a better price beat as they beat the entire price by 5%. CW only gives you 10% off the difference (which can be minimal to begin with)

    • I don't think Officeworks would stock all the items on offer?

  • Cheers OP - was sick with a cough and cold, and decided to try those Strepsils you suggested. Life saver!
