      Mistake in typing the date, i'd say (web site publishers). Offer only came today (for subscribers), and in the email says "valid for 6 days only!", and "ends midnight May 15th".

      Also - just checked - it works fine when applied in their coupon/discounts box atm (early 12th May). This is something you to could have checked, if you'd wanted - if you didn't think things added up and were aggravated to the point of abusing a stranger?

      Submitter did make a mistake in not noticing the incorrect date on web page description (which i guess was cut and pasted from there and therefore passed on), but still it's probably a bit more polite - and useful - to not go quite as off your head at someone as you've done here. At least ask a question or two first.

      ed: Tab for the linked page also reads "Exclusive Offer May 10-15 2010 | Borders"; it's definitely just in on that front promotion page that they've stuffed up.
