And it has a headphone output to plug speakers into. I'd have bought this if I hadn't already grabbed a monitor a couple of months ago for my cockpit.
it will work great.
personally don't really like it because 1) looks like it uses power adapter rather than build-in power, 2) no DVI input and only VGA and HDMI is not friendly to me while I normally connect PC via DVI and console via HDMI.
adapter/converters work well and are cheap on ebay so you can plug in anything you like :)
Dvi to Hdmi cable will be fine.
I was looking at a LG monitor which I believe is the same as this on the weekend at The Good Guys. They have the 27MP37HQ on special for $289 down from $389. It looks like it is replaced by the 27MP38HQ which is on special for $339. Only problem is i am after two of them and in Adelaide there is no stock of the $289 one. I have since found that MSY have them in stock for $269. Looks like I will go there to get them.
I had purchased one of those for $379 about 2 months ago only to discover centercom and MSY had it for the above price. I went back to get a price match of the difference as per their 30 day price beat policy and was refused. After speaking to the manager and head office support the best I managed was a refund so I could purchase it elsewhere, ended up with the $249 Acer instead from Centercom and a lot less headaches.

These were available from Futu and Kogan during the ebay CLICK20 promo for $250 each. I bought three.
Nice monitors for the price however do not be misled by the "slim bezel". There is about a 1cm border around the visible screen on the top and sides and larger across the bottom.
Not a large bezel, which is good but being uneven means they won't look good in portrait if you're thinking of using a vesa mount.
How does this compare to the DELL one posted a little while ago?
