    TELL THE HOMELESS!

  • Freaking hot! Freaking hot! Freaking hot!

  • It's NeNe as in "YesYes" in Korean. And I for one will be partaking in this free feast!

    • And I for one will be partaking in this free feast!

I would expect nothing less from ScroogeMcChicken ;)

For those of us not familiar with it, how would you describe it?

      • I tasted some from the Brisbane CBD store today - swicy and bulgogi flavours. Nice, but I've had better/more satisfying/better value K(orean)FC from other outlets in the suburbs. The pieces are not what I'd describe as big, and pretty pricey when you consider the per piece cost. But, if you've never tried this type of KFC / don't have other options nearby, it's worth a visit.

        • Where's the best kfc in your opinion in Brisbane? Wara wara in the city is pretty good but i don't have anywhere to compare it to.

        • @tomkun01: Haven't been to Wara Wara myself, but of the places I've tried, the one I keep going back to is Seoul Bistro in Sunnybank - been there more than a dozen times, and have had some of their KFC each time. I posted on OzB last year when they started their buffet deal - there's a link to my blog review too.

I've also had KFC from these joints a few times each:

          • Hello Kyochon in Sunnybank Hills
          • Topokki 88 in Sunnybank Hills
          • Bungle Bungle in Runcorn

And Momo Chicken & Beer in Runcorn once.

They're all pretty decent, but Seoul Bistro is my top pick, and has become a favorite/return visit candidate for local friends and overseas guests to whom I've introduced the place.

        • @quop: thank you for your very detailed answer! I'll check it out.
Wara wara used to do half price chicken, and they have chicken cooked in plum sauce. Their soy sauce chicken is good too, especially with yebisu.

    • Going by pictures of a similar promo when the Brisbane store opened earlier this month, I am pretty sure there's only one piece of chicken in the tasting box, so don't expect a feast.

  • Love their original chkn
