I have an existing alarm that does not work. Is it possible to replace the main unit from this (I know the siren all work - just the key is completely stuffed)?

    • yes it is possible but it will work but would cost more than your alarm is worth,

i recomend purchasing a new alarm as i have plenty to choose from also 12 month warranty

that key remote looks like a toyota toy43 key blade?

    How does this work??

    • the key head unscrews from the blank keys if for a rounded blade eg ford eb-ba but most vehicles the blank keys are cut to specs

Have you got a better picture of the key and remote as the one you have posted above is the standard manufacturers pic and its not very clear.

how much does it usually cost to install a car alarm?

  • usually costs $77 per hour by auto elec usually allow 1-2 hours for install

  • only 5 in stock ?
How does the "spy" come in?

  • 'spy' is written on the main unit itself, probably just the brand name
re shock sensor, hope it's a two stage otherwise you'll have constant false alarms!

  • no new pic?

  • oops wrong post

  • Thanks Ninja, so that is a toy43 key for toyota's. how can this work with all cars when the remote will be stuck with a toyota key ??

    • yeah to my knowledge the key is a universal key but am investigating as to what the blank keys are suited to but the alarms are suited to all cars thanks
