Edit: or even $90 through EcoCare Carbon who I've claimed with ~4 weeks ago for my UA48J6200AW ($68 rebate) but I'm yet to see the money :)
Did you receive email confirmation? EcoCare look legit?
I submitted mine today but no email confirmation so I'm a little wary.No I didn't get e-mail either - but did save the PDF though which had my application details and Reference number.
They are listed on official Vic Gov website so I do believe they are legit. They have 1300 you can call but I can't be bothered calling (just sent them an e-mail query instead).
If anybody does call them, I'd be interested to know what they say.Received email today from EcoCare as below:

Lucky you. I had to chase them 3 times now to get an answer. They said still pending Government Body approval.At least we now know it will happen (eventually), but their communication system is very poor.

Funny that. They sent me an e-mail asking to re-confirm bank account details as transfer of $68 failed. I sent them identical bank details (as per original claim form) again on Wed but had no further correspondence and no money yet.@bongom:
Finally got my $68 - paid on Tuesday 02/08. Took multiple e-mails and different excuses.
Don't know if it's worth doing it through this mob to get higher rebate!? Wonder if anyone had better experience with other rebate brokers?@WalterBiH:
Me too! I emailed again Tues and got a reply that the money was transferred that day. Likewise too much hassle.
Not going to neg, but you get higher rebates across the board with SmartUser, eg. $70 for the same TV.
Also, they are listed on official VIC Gov site.

Thanks OP had no idea about this! I purchased the Samsung posted on OzB yesterday. Another $40 back using this rebate.
So it calculated a $75 rebate from EcoCare Carbon for my cheap 49 lf6300 LG tv from the 20% ebay sales late last year.
I will try a few others to see.Any one got money from any rebates yet?

Just be aware that you have to claim before June 30 for any purchases made last year (ie. in 2015).
Also keen to hear from anyone who got their rebate money and with which company.
