          Of course it need to be if it's being compared to one.

          If it's being compared to other 3rd party controllers then fine, but they would need to say that they had experience with it and it was built poorly, not just having a look at the thumbnail and then negging based on"looks cheap".

          Not only is it common sense (maybe not in your case), but it's in the voting guidelines.

      You should find a cheaper link if you want to neg.

      There are cheaper ones I've found on eBay, but your neg isn't valid until you can find the same product at a cheaper price.

          Does nothing. Mods only remove neg votes if no reason is given. Down vote the comment and if enough people do then the neg is removed.

          I did, and it was reviewed but the mods let it stay.

          There's a lot of mods on this site that remove comments which adhere to rules, and leave comments that are against their rules.

          It's pretty black and white that you can't neg a deal because you don't agree with the RRP.

          So yeah, moderation didn't work in this case.

          You can neg for a cheaper price, but you have to provide a link to the cheaper price. I found one, I could neg this deal if I wanted to, but cheepwun shouldn't be able to neg the deal because he doesn't agree with a very standard RRP of $17 USD.

          So there were multiple reasons.

    I've said this previously, but if it's one piece of advice I can give to anybody purchasing accessories for their consoles is to NEVER buy aftermarket controllers. Especially if it's unbranded. They simply don't have the durability of an official controller and you'll end up wasting more money in the long run.

    I would rather spend an extra $12 (includes shipping) and get an official Microsoft one:

      Eh, they're OK for spare controllers for occasional local multiplayer.

      But anything above $15 delivered or so isn't really a bargain, I think, for knock-off 360 controllers…

      Have you seen the price of a Wii U pro controller compared to the knock offs?

      Yeah I'm not paying $70 for a 2nd player Mario Kart controller when I can get one that works great for less than $20.
