I would like to get the Citibank Signature card, with no annual fees.
Does anyone know where we can apply from?
Im mainly after it for the complementary travel insurance, by ZURICH specifically.
(Bankwest Platinum no longer offers free travel insurance through Zurich).

Does anyone know a free credit card that has complementary travel insurance by Zurich?
I have one (Citibank signature fee free for life). I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I got some correspondence saying the insurer was changing from Zurich to someone else. I can't remember the specific details though.
The CITIBANK SIGNATURE product definitely still exists. Many users have been upgraded to a Visa Infinite CARD but the signature brand and features stay identical.

A while ago, they asked me if I wanted to apply to increase my credit limit (and I didn't want to).
So, I'm still stuck with Signature… no upgrades.
no idea, i've only ever used my citi bank credit card to get a 0% balance transfer into my home loan and then paid back as soon as the period offer expired.
could be to do with my credit amount and the amount i 'spent'?
Some of the upgrades require a minimum credit limit. The additional perks of 'infinite' are very minor though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
@Evil-Elmo: is it anything like the citibank prestige card? Because Infinite doesn't seem to be advertised. I was keen on the airport transfers… but looks like it's a complimentary night hotel stay instead?
@bluedufflecoat: I personally don't see any benefit from visa infinite.
I thought it was only a branding change because all the perks are very similar
Re: upgrade. I think it depends on income level, but I can't remember what income amount.
The differences between Signature and Infinite are minor https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/233396 and are not as good as the Prestige.
I don't think many people have directly obtained free for life SIGNATURE, mainly obtained via gradual upgrades from free for life GOLD and/or PLATINUM.
However they do come out occasionally and if you search hard enough you MIGHT be able to find an active promo.
I would have thought most people here actually got it free for life as their first citi credit card during the family/friends and veda offers a few years ago.

afaik allianz replaced zurich for everyone including citibank and bankwest :)

Zurich offered a great rate for a pre-existing medical condtion. Now that Bankwest changed providers, I got slugged significantly more.

Still got it. They have reduce their reward a bit over the years
I used to get $500 Bunning vouchers often but now more like $200 -:)

I actually spoke with someone at Zurich (called them), and they are no longer offering CC insurance.
Time to see what other providers there are, apart from Allianz. Too many exclusions, etc.
Just need to click on each and every card listed to find out whether they are still current.
They were pushing out fee free for life Signatures at the Sydney stores only a couple of months ago.
There were definitely flyers and signs.
I didn't see it posted here otherwise would jump onto it. Any idea if it's still running? I may drop by the branch sometime next week.
