    Value of voucher compared to spend.
    $100 = 20% Voucher.
    $300 = 10% Voucher.
    $500 = 10% Voucher.
    $700 = 14.2% Voucher.
    $900 = 22.2% Voucher.

      Value of voucher compared to spend.
      Sliding scale.
      $100-$299 = 20%-6.6% Voucher.
      $300-$499 = 10%-6.0% Voucher.
      $500-$699 = 10%-7.1% Voucher.
      $700-$899 = 14.2%-11.1% Voucher.
      $900-$+ = 22.2%-0% Voucher.

        now you're just showing off

        • +5

          If you wanna get technical. You actually have to include the voucher in the spend. As it needs to be spent in store. Reflective of spend in store with the voucher. Spend and percentage of discount sliding scale is

          $120 - $319 -> 16.67% - 6.27%
          $330 - $529 -> 9.09% - 5.67%
          $550 - $749 -> 9.09% - 6.68%
          $800 - $999 -> 12.5% - 10.01%
          $1,100 -> $18.18% - 0%

        • @Jedfer84:
          I'm tapping out

        • @Jedfer84:

          You actually have to include the voucher in the spend. As it needs to be spent in store.

          Both perspectives can be correct.

          Eg. Spend $100, get $20 store credit and use that to buy something else worth $20. In this example, you've spent $100 of your own money, and get $20 of free money/credit to spend on something else in store. So:

          • Your return on investment is the value of store credit (your "return") relative to initial spend (your "investment"), hence $20/$100 or 20%. I presume this is what MaccDogg meant.
          • You are talking about the discount percentage, ie value of store credit (your discount or actual savings) relative to total value of goods purchased, hence $20/$120 or 16.67%.

    Looks like I just missed out on this. Bought a Dyson V6 Absolute on the weekend in store. What a rippa of a vacuum! Highly recommended. Bought for $647, RRP was $899.

        Not helping

  • Now to spend $300 on something from good guys, that I don't need but will save many dollars on… Any suggestions?

    • Gift cards?

      • Purchases of Apple, ASKO, Miele, Neff, Bertazzoni, Hoover, Falcon, delivery, Gift Card purchases or
        purchases utilising previously earned Store Credits do not qualify for this promotion

  • I'm looking to buy three items currently selling for $899 each. If I can find a $1 item, it looks like I can buy two now and have $400 to put towards the third one in a couple of week's time, giving me an effective price of @2299 or $766 each. Not quite as good as the ebay 20%, but still 14.8% off. Does anyone see any problems with my plan? Any suggestions for the $1 item?

  • You can combine with Amex deal which Is qualified with the online , but shame can't do with gift card

    • +1

      Do you mean if we use TGG gift cards online to make the online purchase, this doesn't qualify?

  • +1

    I purchased an item worth $126 this Saturday and I got the invitation to review with the $20 credit today. So might not be just limited to online purchase unless I got an special treatment :)

  • Has anyone any experience with their cheapest delivery option? Do they just show up and expect you to be there, or what?

    • Click and collect is free and pretty efficient.

      • I mean for large items, like fridges.

    • +2

      Got a fridge delivered yesterday from the Good Guys. They give you a 2 hour window which is better than most do. Fortunately they arrived at the front end of that window. Guys were friendly and took care of the fridge to ensure it wasn't scratched when moving it into a tight place. YMMV but I was very happy with the service.

    GoPro Hero 4 Silver, latest catalogue price ends tonight…

    $499 (was $579) + $50 off via Amex deal, + $50 voucher in July if you add in something worth $1… Not a bad deal!

  • If we use TGG gift card as payment method, does this qualify for the Store Credit?

    • +2

      Can't see why not?

  • Asus F556UV-XO019T (15.6" Intel Core i5 4GB 1TB Notebook) seems very good price.
    @The Good Guys - $748
    @JB Hifi & eBay - $899

  • Can you use store credit to buy gift cards?

    • Never mind, it's in their T&C. Store Credits cannot be used to purchase products from agency brands including Asko, Miele, Falcon, Hoover, Neff or Jennair. Store Credits cannot be used to purchase The Good Guys Gift Cards.

  • Need an airfryer & a bread maker, would it be worthwhile getting from TGG?

    It mentions online but what about using click and collect? Still eligible?

    EDIT: phone rep confirmed c&c orders are eligible.

  • Please advice how Ebay Paypal 20% Off work…If buying item cost $999 @TGG. Receipt will be $1000 or $800 when apply discout code from Paypal.
    Also if buying good thru Ebay.Can I claim store credit offer from TGG?

      • I haven't got mine yet either.

        • Ok… all good. Mine came through yesterday afternoon via email. Subject "Your bonus store credit has arrived!"
