Seems to be a few RC fans out there, so I decided to put this up. Needs a receiver and transmitter to fly. They sell ready-to-go combos as well. Not a drone for beginners. Has had mixed reviews, but mainly positive, and for this price it's a steal I think. Heaps of info on the web. It says it will end in 3 days but I bought one last week and when the counter finished it just reset at the same lowered price I think it's a 'sale' that will last until stock is gone

I love how the fascia has a happy face so that the next time you take a public shower at the beach and this thing hovers over, you're greeted with a smile.

I have one of these exact machines… And I can tell you, it is not a good machine to go perving at the beach with. It's super fast and does not like stationary hovering. And the camera is good, but you would need to be close to perv on anyone using public showers. Now, if you wanted a quad that would take their head off before you could say, "oh shit!!", I totally recommend this one. :D

  • Would you recommend the tunigy TX/RX?
    http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__8992__Turnigy_9X_…

Also, how upgradable is this if i want to change batteries/motors/rotors/computer or add a gimbal/gopro?

    • I'm not sure I'm a beginner myself, this will be my second drone, I just thought I'd put it up as I've researched and asked around a lot and decided on this one. That tx/rx is okay from what I've heard, but I found a place in Aus that sell the taranis with hardcase for $320 I'm just going to bite the bullet and buy one of those

    • Go pro, yes. Has mounts on the top of it that supports action cams. Gimble, no. It's a 250 racing drone. There is no real undercarriage to mount anything too. And a top mounted gimble would mess with its flying. This is not a hover and take photos drone, it is a racing drone and likes to be flown flat out and handles like a race car.

While off the top of my head I can't think of a more suitable drone for "gimble" action, there are better suited platforms for this type of action. For instance, compare a DJI Phantom to any 250 race drone and you will see how different they are. One is built for camera mounting and lifting. One is built light and fast to minimise weight and add speed.

And I use Hobby King TX/RX gear for my Eachine, so many different 6+ channel units should work ok.

      • Would be fun to pair together with fpv goggles for some fast low level flying.. :)

  • Is this compatible with a FatShark receiver?

    • Assuming you are talking about a 5.8gHz 32 channel Fatshark receiver, yes.

  • Talking about the one built into the Attitude V2 goggles.

  • NAze32 or CC3d version? I'm thinking of getting the DIY version. even not being cost effective, I've done stuff to phantoms before and I want to learn how to build a racer.

  • Any cheap RC for this one ?

  • just got a drone arrive from Banggood today, DOA. Must be a charging or battery issue…. Second time in a row to have broken Banggood products…..I'll give them a miss from now on as the warranty process is designed to make you give up.
