AU PSN PS4 Ratchet & Clank AU $30.95

540

Forget about the huge E3 Sale in US & CA PSN. AUS PSN has its own merit this time and the star is Rachet & Clank. The cheapest disc price is $49 in Target so far. PSN has it for sale at $30.95. However, Coles has 10% off PSN card sale this week: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/252967 so that makes the deal to $27.86, which is the cheapest price for a good game.

Good deal, but maaaaay be a bit misleading. Prob best to say $30.95, or if you stack with the Coles deal it would be $27.86 since, no, you cannot depart with only $27.86 and get the game.

I personally thought it was a great game and well worth the price l paid for if at launch.

Couldn't agree more! I'd never played a Ratchet game until this one, thought I'd try something different after Uncharted 4 and this blew me away! It's like playing a Pixar film, good humor, fun/easy to play and the weapon upgrades and challenge modes made going for the platinum trophy enjoyable (as opposed to a chore like most games). I think it's a must play for ps4 owners

      • Does this game have offline multiplayer? You know like FIFA, could you play against each other with two or more controllers?

Nah it's a single player story game, there's no multiplayer or online component. Check out some gameplay on YouTube to see if it's the type of game you're after.

@mrjrdmc: cheers, will do. This game does fit into my kind of game but I will have to pass this great deal right now after buying battlefield 4, injustice and lego superheroes lol.

great game - one of the most fun I've played this year, couldn't disagree more with that comment.

I think it's worth about that. It doesn't hold a candle to the original games though.

  • Thanks purchased. Was in my wish list.

    Buy it, it's great fun.

Well I got the PS3 HD trilogy for like 6 bucks years ago, with the Vita cross buy versions included… so even if this remake is as great as everyone says, which I hope it is, I mean, I just can't justify that much.

    • It's a new game completely.

      • Define completely. Like, I heard it was just a remake with like a few new levels but if it's actually a full on new game then sure, I'll take my irrelivant comment and walk away peacefully.

That's what it is. It's a reimagining of the original, completely rebuilt from the ground up. So not just a minor graphical update. Slightly altered storyline, although staying true to the original, new mechanics (Jetpack/Spaceship), Giant Clank sections replaced and fighting Nefarious.
Sure it's not $6, but at the same time, it's also a game developed 15 years post the original. It looks and feels perfect. Highly recommended

  • wouldn't the minimum outlay without stocking up on PSN gift cards be $27.95? ie - 1x$30 PS voucher for $27 from coles, plus 95c charged when you buy the game.

    • If you don't have enough in your wallet, can you pay the gap between the cost of the game and what's in your wallet? Or do you have to top up the wallet ($10 min)?
