Unusual for a sale on specialist models. Can anyone confirm if this place is legit? Website says they're an official Weber Specialist Dealer. The small saving of $20 compared to the $160 at bbqdeals.com.au plausible.

This store is legit. I have spent a fair bit of money there. Saying that, $20 off is pretty average. Not sure if it is worthy of a post here.
OK OP (or anyone else who can tell me), so I don't know how I haven't heard of bbqdeals.com.au. Their prices on Weber seem amazing - so what am I missing here?
Bbqdeals Site is a scam. Other posts on Ozbargain about them.
I think it is a scam. There are too many things that don't appear to be correct. The pricing is one of them.

Definitely rare for their specialist stuff to go on sale. They sometimes throw in an extra like a BBQ Cover (i got one free with my Q2200), and sometimes do discount on the accessories (usually 10%). Myer had 20% off Weber the other week, but only normal models and no specialty ones. But it made the accessories a pretty decent price.
I bought the Q2200 (Full Black) from Classic fireplace & BBQ early this year and was a good experience. Even though i had to pay the full $449 ,they gave me a complimentary vinyl cover which retails for around $35. Personally i like the full Black version and also bought the portable trolley from masters 20% off for $119
The eBay 20% sales are great for the Weber accessories!
That is true that the free accessories would bring the base cost of the bbq below $419. But like myself and others mentioned, sale of the specialist models is very rare. Maybe you could haggle on some accessories aswell, or maybe a specialist dealer might price match if you're lucky and then we can break their stronghold and start a pricing war! :D
What's different about this model?
The lid is extra high for roasting big items. Plus you get a thermometer built into the lid.
Plus Electric Ignition
You'd need to call them anyway to order it.
