Hello fellow ozbargainers, first time poster here.
Great deal on this official Samsung wireless charger.
Enjoy
sorry mate your photo clearly shows a big wire sticking out of the dock
I got the same charging pad but not the stand.
Working fine with whatever phone that has wireless charge capacity or equipped with wireless charging add-ons.
I can wireless-charge my S7 Edge with it too, but I don't know if it will "fast charge" it or not
Amazing even the dock has no wires!
What?
How does it draw power from the mains outlets then? You can't charge a phone without a power source.
What do you explain this is then?

Not sure if trolling…
Semi-trolling
I remember when I first heard of so called wireless charging years ago and I was skeptical
Turned out back then you needed a hideous new bulky phone case to dock onto a wired mat or similar
I suppose these are glorified docks although Samsung has built the charging apparatus into the back of the phone by default which is smart
I have a belkin dock for Iphone 6 and its easy to slide in due to 2 way lightning connector
This would only be a touch more convenient but especially more so for all those stuck on one way usb cables
Can this stand house the phone while it is housed in an Official Samsung S7 clear case?
I think I may have to remove the case every time I want to dock my phone.
Shipping takes 2 weeks from this store from my experience.
Not sure but mine works through a spigen tough armor case, S6 though?
Is it fast charging for s6 edge as well?
Fast wireless charging wouldn't work for S6 Edge, it uses different hardware components which they started using from Note 5.
Silly question but will this be compatible with a Note 4 fitted to with a S-View wireless charger cover?
To OP - I read the reviews and this doesn't come with a mains unit/adapter does it? So unless the buyer has a fast adaptive charger this is useless? Cheers
Should do though it won't be fast charging. I've got N4 as well and still deciding whether to go this wireless Qi route or stick with USB. Heat and inefficiency of wireless?
As a person who is using Qi charger, I think it's kinda gimmicky. I do use them and I do find them convienient. It's sluggish, but having a spot where I chuck the phone onto for charging is convienent, especially when I use cases that has flaps. I don't use the wireless charger when I urgently need to charge the phone though, I unplug the cable from the pad and charge the phone via cable if that is the case.
So is the qi charger worth the price? Hmmm, maybe, maybe not.
Around AUD$25.00-$29.00 shipped from AliExpress for this (genuine) with charger, AU plug, etc, or AUD$15.00 shipped for an aftermarket copy.
link(s) please!
All are fake! I tried the $40AUD still fake
link?
ali express. The place you go for cheap knockoffs and fakes.
I have this charger, it is awesome if you have a phone with fast wireless charging capabilities. I use the s7 Edge and it can charge the phone from 0 to full in about 2 hours. You need to use the fast charger that comes with the phone though, it does not include an AC adapter. Great product and the stand turns your phone into a pretty solid clock too.
It will work with any phone that has QI wireless charging capability, however only certain phones are fast charge QI compatible.
Also some of the note phones may be too large to work on this charger since the contact area is fairly low on the phone. I tried using a inside case QI receiver and this charger on the note edge and it fails unless you turn the phone horizontally.
Do you think Samsung Australia will offer this for free when Samsung Pay launches in Australia?
http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-offers-free-wireless-c…
Possibly. I think Samsung Pay would launch this week or next week (at least soon), judging how they've rolled out the app + framework for it today (server is not up yet, but I've received 2? 3? updates for Samsung Pay that gets me to log in screen). So we will see.
Apparently, they will launch tomorrow.

Are these covered by australian warranty? What are mobilezap like to deal with? Has anyone had any experience with their returns? I feel like I would have heard already if they were dodgy but I have never bought anything from them before and something about their websites makes me wonder
same here.. should i get one?
A UK based company with some kind of system for distribution, warranty and returns within Oz?

got one Qi Wireless Fast Charge Charger from ebay at $6 few weeks ago, there are tons of it at the similar price range.
It was fast charge initially, few days later I have to charge my s7 edge from 10% to full for more than 8 hours.
I'm not sure how to differentiate them in term of quality other than price, but what if the more expensive one is just another rip off.
I read some online reviews..
1. I'm still not sure if it'll work for s6.
2. Only difference between official "fast" wireless charger and slow wireless charger is the wall plug which you provide.
It wouldn't work with S6 (the fast wireless charging was introduced with Note 5, it'd charge at a slower rate). Fast wireless charger charges faster than normal wireless charger (you need to use the fast adaptive charger with it though).

Awesome! been looking for one of these! thanks!
does it come up with power supply and cable?
From their page:
Please Note: The Samsung Wireless Charging Stand does not come with a UK mains plug included. You will need to use the mains plug provided with your phone in order to charge via a mains outlet.
also, the price says $48.49 and whyyy is the white one soo expensive?
A/ Title price is with delivery.
B/ Supply & demand
Yeah, I think what they are trying to do (but have not realized yet themselves) is this;
