This is my first post, not sure if it is all right, but Braun shavers are currently listed at half price at the Woolworths store in Bonnyrigg. Here there is two left in stock as of now. They also have the Braun Series 3 (Was $129 Now $64.50), Series 1 (Was $69.99 Now $34.99) and Mobile Shave (Was $35 Now $17.50) all at half price and all in stock, though very few of each.

@Gavman: amazon reviews of BT5070 are better then the braun cruzer6 Beard & Head Trimmer although the price difference is not much.
@HardyBro: I just a BT5070 from woollies @ the Glen store. Last one on the shelf. I didn't see the Braun cruZer6 Beard & Head Trimmer but they had the other ones as above on the shelf too. But I was after the BT5070 anyways was cheaper too so I'm happy.
Just bought series 3 shaver online with click&collect. Paid with gift card.
I have the M-30 (the cheapest one) and I swear it cuts better than a Series 7, I would recommend it.
I have bought two of Secries 1, they are amazingly good.
These are just series 1 they r v low end and terrible performance

I wonder how the Braun BT5070 Beard Trimmer compares with the Wahl Lithium Ion Stainless Steel Groomer which was posted earlier on ozbargain for $90.
Has anyone had experience with both units?
Wahl good American brand so quality would be quite up there with Bruan. For half the price tho its a no brainer which one to get.
This unit is not lithium ion, it's nickel metal hydride, not sure if they are low self discharge but one would hope so otherwise it's a real pain.
I bought one the other day, does the job well enough, however maybe not the best for the hair on top of your head, was slower to cut than my 15 year old Remington Professional, so not ideal. This may have been because I do a 3mm and the 0-10mm comb has a piece if plastic across it that catches cut hair, and unfortunately the 10-20mm comb while not having this is too long to be useful to me.
Without having used the Wahl, but having read some reviews, I think the Wahl is definitely better for someone who wants to do their whole head, and at the same price it would be better, but the price of this puts it in the game. Probably better as just a beard trimmer though.
