Although this is EB Games, for an extra $91.20 you can get the Uncharted 4 PS4, Uncharted 4, Doom, GTA 5 and Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. Oh, and 6 months free Presto… because that's totally worth anything at the moment. So you're getting some cool decal, Doom, GTA 5 and Syndicate for $91.20 which is a pretty nice price especially since Doom is a brand new release.

Wow that's a pretty good deal considering the limited edition ps4 and the money value for all those games.

    • Thanks! that's a great deal and the added coin is probably worth the Kogan avoidance. Well listed!

      • EB games might be easier to deal with over Kogan if you have problems with the device later.

    • -1

This one has Uncharted 4 too.

      • I was listing the entire bundle…

  • Dont forget the big w sales coming up after e3 for those that dont necessarily want uncharted.

    • That's the one I'm waiting for. I only want the PS4 for No Mans Sky…

    • How could you not want Uncharted? It's a perfect game and no one is allowed to disagree with me on that. Why is it perfect, you ask? Who cares, it's a thrilling, emotional experience, just buy it! ;)

  • costco has almost same price.

    • +1

      Costco has a membership

      • & under membership, you can return this bundle after new PS4 comes out and get the full refund

        • I had a quick look at Costco returns policy and couldn't figure why you'd be able to return a used product several months after you bought it… how does this work?

        • [@herbus]ask costco staff in person.

Again, Be wary of buying a PS4 just for Uncharted4. There is a MASSIVE problem with the game and it's a crapshoot whether it works on any given console.

    http://feedback.naughtydog.com/forums/363840-uncharted-4/sug…

It seems no model of the console is immune to this error now and if you get it when you install UC4 you won't be playing the game. As good a game as UC4 is (by all reports) until this crashing bullshit is fixed you are taking a $450 risk.

    • +1

I don't understand how this is a $450 risk, wouldn't the issue be with the game, not the console? And if it were the console, wouldn't it only be applicable to that game and not all games?

      • If you're not getting a PS4 for Uncharted 4, better to wait 3 months for the new console.

        • -1

That didn't answer my question, but I am planning on waiting to see what goes down at E3 next week, in case you were wondering.

      • He's saying if you were going to buy it just for Uncharted 4. i.e. if you were just intending to play Uncharted 4 and then throw away the console afterwards.

        • People do that? Plus I still don't understand how it's a '$450 risk', as even if the game was unplayable for whatever reason, the console itself would still be fine?

      • -2

I don't understand how this is a $450 risk, wouldn't the issue be with the game, not the console?

        .

        That didn't answer my question

How about YOU read his comment correctly before mouthing off?

He clearly says "Be wary of buying a PS4 just for Uncharted4"

        • Excuse you, mouthing off?

I read their comment entirely, multiple times, and still cannot understand what the risk involved is.

        • -2

          @tranqme:

          What don't you understand?

If someone had an Xbox One or PC, and was happy to use it for all their gaming, but wanted to play Uncharted (because its received amazing reviews) which is exclusive to PS4.

This person goes out and buys a PS4 solely for playing Uncharted, ie. it will not be used to play any other games for the foreseeable future (because their existing Xbox One/PC already does that).

This person then slides Uncharted into the PS4 and it doesn't load.

This person now has a PS4 that can't be used for the only reason it was purchased.

To me spending $456.80 for one game, that may not actually run, is risky.

          Make sense?

        • @PainToad:

Uhhh so how does that make it a $450 risk? It would only be a risk if the console was unusable and unsalable after that happened, which isn't the case.

        • -3

          @tranqme:

          You must be trolling.

It would only be a risk if the console was unusable

It would be, completely unusable for the intended use of the purchaser.

          and unsalable

So your solution is to sell the console, which would result in a substantial loss of money. Let me guess, you think that isn't risky either.

        • @PainToad:

Not trolling, you just seem to miscomprehend the meaning of the term risk.

The first line from wikipedia states that a risk is:

'..the potential of gaining or losing something of value.'

Now if this bundle is being assessed as a $450 risk, then there is a potential of losing $450 because the game simply does not work.

          Does not compute.

        • -2

          @tranqme:

The risk is ending up with something that can't do, what you brought it to do (play Uncharted).

Like buying a car, only to find out it can only turn right. Sure you still have the car, you haven't lost it, but it doesn't serve its intended purpose.

Is English not your first language?

        • @PainToad:

So then how am I risking $450 when I'm only risking not being able to play one specific game?

Your comparison is way off, the appropriate comparison would be like purchasing a brand new car, then finding out a particular set of tyres doesn't fit on it, the car itself is fine and you haven't lost or risked what you've paid for it.

Just like in this instance, the console still works 100%, and can play every other game intended to be played on it, so you haven't risked any money.

I can't believe I'm explaining this right now.

        • @tranqme:

when I'm only risking not being able to play one specific game?

Because the person only wanted to play that one game. If they can't play it, the console is worth TO THEM.

can play every other game intended to be played

The person doesn't want to play any other game. THEY ALREADY HAVE A CONSOLE FOR THIS.

        • @PainToad:

That's stupid, no one buys a console just to play one game, and even if they did and found they were not able to, they could sell the console and regain what the paid for it.

          So no, it's not a $450 risk.

        • -1

          @tranqme:

no one buys a console just to play one game

Yes, they do! Many people buy consoles just for one exclusive. I don't, but people do.

they could sell the console and regain what the paid for it.

No ones going to buy a used console at the same price of new. So yes, you are risking wasting money and time.

        • @PainToad:

That may be true, but you wouldn't be risking $450.

        • @PainToad:

This person now has a PS4 that can't be used for the only reason it was purchased.

To me spending $456.80 for one game, that may not actually run, is risky.

Can you explain why it wouldn't run? If there's some bug with it, it can be patched, no?

This should be a better deal. $399 and local stock.

Also it's the limited edition bundle pack with with unique PS4 design, not just an ordinary PS4 with the game thrown in.

Don't know how Kogan can justify charging that much.
