  Great computer especially with T5300 upgrade. 6400UMA is run out model though — I think 1520 is their current line of 15 inch Inspiron.

  Yeah it's the older model, replaced by the new ones with the new SantaRosa Core2Duo Mobile chipset and all that jazz in July 07'. But if you just need a good quality basic lappy for email, web etc.. with good service/warranty then this would be GREAT. With 2GB RAM and XP Home this would sing. But certainly upgrade from Vista Basic for a few extra, or go XP Home. Vista Basic is bad… mmmkaaay !!!
