+1. Hate non-offline single player mode, so never purchase this game.
The console versions all have offline single player/couch coop…..that's why cheating online is so rampant as saves are client side.
Also they made the horrible decision to let players transfer save games from the 360 and PS3 versions to the XB1 and PS4. There's no save editing on XB1/PS4 but people just transfer over heaps of hacked items from the previous version and ruined online for the "next gen" consoles too :(

There's offline singleplayer and offline 4 player on the same screen. Only the PC version has no offline modes.

This offer is irrelevant for most, has been out of stock in both bigW and Target for many months. I checked bigW today in Melbourne cbd diablo3 was still out of stock for Xbox one and ps4. They had 4 copies for ps3 but who plays ps3 anymore?
Oh that note, I was in Eb the other day browsing their 1/2 sale. This guy mentioned he will not upgrade to PS4 as on PS3 multiplayer is free and all games are dirt cheap now. So they are out there and probably more price savvy than we are =O

There was never anything to maintain or provide. All the multiplayer was P2P, no servers were ever hosted by them. Live was just an advertising & match-making portal, as well as a way of collecting and selling your info to marketing companies.

The reason the header now only states XBOX360/PS3 is because the next gen stock has been reported to be sold out by now, understandably as it has been a few days after it was originally posted.
So the question is now whether you were being intentionally misleading to attempt to cover up the fact that you falsely claimed all multiplayer on the Xbox was P2P, rather then just previous gen, or were you so desperate to undermine a valuable console deal that you posted your misleading and off-topic comment without even bothering to read the actual deal, instead just relying on the header?

Hack single player but leave online play pristine, until some smart alec comes along and hacks it.
Don't let the talk of hacks put you off. The game is one of the best co-op experiences on the console, even moreso when playing with mates. I've played the PS4 version online quite a bit and I'm yet to run into anyone that is cheating. You can set your preferences to local, invite or friends only if you are worried though so if you do have some mates who play then you never have to risk it.
The game has received a lot of additional content since it was released and the best part is it has all been free. There is no DLC for this game which is very rare in this day and age. Highly recommended and for this price, it's an absolute steal.
It's a great hack and slash game on ps3.
Can do single player off line gaming too and invite a couch buddy to join the rumble.
