Who is George?
Dicaeopolis or allantopolpous?
I'm partial to the Steam Rail pilsener - but it's not on this deal!
The Amber is ok iirc.
I didn't see the pilsner in stock. So it might be $10 at other stores, maybe
They were selling the slabs of pilsner at $40, same as the others, but curiously didn't have the signage for 6 packs of pilsner at $10, unlike the others, even though they were on the same promotional end.
I would have asked, but thought I'd try the Moosehead instead. Good shout! :)
My receipt bore a docket deal for a six pack of Crown Lager at $10 too. (That's one for my father-in-law).
I tried all the steamrail beers recently. Their not bad not great, wouldnt say no to one. I doubt you find much better for $10 a six pack often. I don't mind who owns it.
You can get much better beers for $10/6pk if you keep an eye out for the deals on the supermarket receipts.
I had the Golden Ale first and thought they must have mislabelled the bottles, but after trying them all I think they just have a peculiarity about them - (not in a bad way, more in a unique way).
They are certainly very good beers for the price, and, imho, much better than Aldi's Storm Pale Ale which supposedly won awards!
And much more interesting than the usual Hahn, Toohey's, Pure Blonde deals commonly on receipts.
not the best of beer's
