I tried it years ago. from memory it was fine/good. beeradvocate reviews are mixed. some people praise it. some say it's meh. at $9 a 6 pack, I'll give it another go.
I seem to remember it tasing quite nice, but it could have been the 12 or so I had or the cute Canuck chick serving. I dunno it was a blur, but I'm still around 10yrs later.

Seems Canadian beer is finally catching on, Dan's is selling Molson and now 1st Choice is selling Moosehead. Hopefully they'll have some left if I can get there on the weekend!

It is physically in their print and published catalog so you would hope it would be something they have decent stock of. I don't recall seeing it before so maybe it is anew line.
God damn I love beer. I watch my diet and weight something chronic, but I'd drink it all day long for the tastes. The alcohol content is sadly part of the taste, but if it could be replaced by something that gave the same flavor but no physical affect, I'd drink it all day instead of water. I feel the same on coffee. I love the taste. I have a grinder, roaster, and espresso machine. But I have just one a day. But if I stop for just one day I get headaches. It ticks me off.

Molson is garbage beer. Don't try it. It's Canada's Budweiser.
Moosehead is ok but we are all in for a treat if they import Sleemans. Sigh … I miss the beer store. Really should go home for a visit soon.
Agree there are far better Canadian beers but I like it more for the memories than the taste :)
Yeah I posted about this on that other DM First choice thread on the Jack Daniels. I might grab a six-pack. I don't drink that much lager, especially in winter, and was wanting to get those Asahi cans at DM.
They have Moosehead Ale cans for $40 a carton too. That seems to rate less favorably than the lager though.
Bought a 6 pack to try.
Quite nice. Smooth lager taste. Almost sweetish and dry aftertaste. Reminds me of a nicer Efes.
So far, had 1, it's a 2 thumbs up for this $9 a six pack beer.

Was the carton still more expensive than 4x carton price like it was showing online (eg $38 vs $36)?
mine rang up as $36, so perhaps they fixed it.
